My husband and I look forward to our haircuts with Jay and Elsa. They are the best! I wouldn’t trust anyone else to cut our hair. Jay has been cutting my hair for 10+ years.

Shane M. is truly a wonderful artist at Workshop. I had a messed up mess; uneven layers, three different color layers and my hair needed saving. I wanted to go shorter, but was super nervous. He totally put me at ease; we discussed at length how i felt, he had great ideas and incorporated my thoughts with his ideas, with fantastic results!
He also chose a gorgeous super dark brown that suited me perfectly, along with the cut. I’ve had nothing but absolute rave reviews from everyone I know.
Its precisely what I needed! Thank you Shane, you are, indeed, a rockstar!

Go! My husband and I have been going to J and Elsa for several years. They are talented friends and I cannot imagine going anywhere else. I always get exactly the color and cut I want from Elsa. You won’t be disappointed. Go!

J has been cutting my hair for over 15 years and I can’t envision anyone else cutting my hair. J has also been very accommodating when I needed to change my appt time at the last minute. Well worth the trip to Los Gatos.

As I read the other reviews, I too have been going to J for 10 years! J knows my hair very well and won’t go to anyone else. He does quality work and really takes his time to make sure he gets it right.
I hear the same for Elsa and Shane. Nothing but compliments on their work. I’ve seen Elsa’s work with cuts and color and her clients always look great after leaving her chair. The same with Shane. I get my hair colored with Shane and he’s always done a great job. I’ve always been happy with the outcome.
If anyone out there is looking for a good place for a cut/​color, this is the place to go. You won’t be disappointed with anyone there!

THEY GET YOUR HAIR DID GOOD HERE! I been a client for 4 years and haven’t ever had a bad hair cut. The stylists are cool fun people who are great at their craft. They listen and give you what you want. Its not a typical stuck up place you’d expect to see in «Los Gatos» either. My hair is a huge priority and a way of life for me, It even takes me 2 hours to get there and even if i have to take a day off work, I make sure I make my monthly appointment.

I have been going to Elsa who co-​owns the shop with her Fiancé Jay and I love them both… I’ve actually never gone to anyone else for my cuts, I rarely get my hair colored anymore but she is amazing with color… Ive recommended my sister and friends to her and all have been satisfied… She’s great with cuts, and listens to my crazy stories every time I go in… Her appt book is usually full cause of how awesome she is… Years ago when I was coloring my hair, she did a wonderful job at not turning my hair orange which most stylist tend to do with darkhaird people… I hate that fake blonde orange look that most girls have… Now days I only get cuts from her and i’m happy I have long hair and she is wonderful… I love the décor in the salon and their choice of music this isn’t you’re typical los gatos hair salon if you know what I mean… I love this place!

J has been cutting my hair now for so many years I’ve lost track! He is the best… a genius with bangs and I love how he always gets my hair so straight and silky. Elsa is awesome with color — I get so many compliments on the purple highlights she gave me I can’t bring myself to get rid of them!
Always great conversation, lots of laughs and new and interesting things to see every time I go in (especially in the bathroom!).

I think the fact that I still drive from San Francisco down to Los Gatos to get my hair cut is a testament to how great this place is.
Elsa’s been cutting my hair for a few years now, and I get compliments all the time. She’s been very good about listening to my weird ideas of what my head should look like, and done her best to make those ideas reality (and usually better than what I dreamed up). I’ve sent at least two other people there!
The hour I’m there is always non-​stop talking and laughing. Elsa and Jay are great, fun people, on top of being top-​notch hair professionals!

Elsa is a goddess with cuts and colors… even when I tell her to just suggest something or to surprise me (yes, I trust her THAT much) I always walk out so happy and loving my hair. I always get awesome compliments on my hairstyles.
Jay is great too, and a bit of a perfectionist, though it’s a good trait to have when you’re cutting people’s hair :)
Fun Fact: Jay can, and will, cut any sort of mohawk or mullet that you want!
