I love this little UU Fellowship! My entire family relocated here from the Mid-West and the people of UUFLG made us feel welcome from the very first visit. There is a part time minister, Fa Jun, who is very upbeat and interesting. You’ll never be bored by one of his sermons.

I have been a member of UUFLG for over three years. I couldn’t be happier to be part of such a friendly and supportive community. If you want to be told what to think and how the man in the sky is going to strike you down if you don’t do what a bunch of self appointed men tell you to do… don’t come to this church. If you want to explore your own theology within a supportive community that will respect your beliefs, as long as those beliefs are respectful of others… this is a community you might want to check out.

My husband and I have been members of UUFLG for about three years. We had not been members of a church before, and were not quite sure what to expect. Both us of were uncomfortable with our previous experience of more traditional religion, but we wanted to find a community that shared our values. We felt welcome and engaged almost from the moment we walked in the door. The congregation is small, but offers a lot of activities and ways to be involved in the community. In fact the smaller size is one of the things that attracted us to the Los Gatos Fellowship. Unitarian Universalism has allowed us to explore who we are spiritually, but it has not told us what to believe. If you are looking for spirituality without dogma, this is an excellent option! We have especially enjoyed our Chalice Circle(small group ministry) and involvement in the well-organized Social Action Team(perhaps I am a bit biased though, as I am the Social Action Chair). There are also Sunday School classes for kids, and family friendly activities. This is a wonderful and welcoming community, and I would strongly urge people who are curious about Unitarian Universalism, liberal religion or becoming more involved in community service to come visit us!
