Greg F. is the King. He’s fabulous with color. He knows his products and if he doesn’t, he knows who to ask. That is what so great about him. He’s humble, personable and overall, a great person. I enjoy Greg’s uplifting and positive personality, plus I look great afterwards. I highly recommend Greg!

Sara Mohtadi is the ultimate color specialist. Her service is exceptional and I always leave the salon feeling fabulous. Definitely recommend her exercising her skills on your coif.

I stumbled upon Sara Mohtadi, now a stylist at Tonic, by sheer luck when I moved to this area twelve years ago. Thank the Hair Gods for small miracles! Sara is a color GENIUS and also gives me the best cuts I have ever had. She has an inate sense of what is beautiful and would never let you walk out of her salon looking anything but stunning.
While I would follow Sara anywhere, I absolutely love the quaint, chic feel of Tonic. The shampoo bowl chairs are seriously comfy and I dig the quiet, sophisticated atmosphere.
All you ladies (and guys) out there who care about your hair, visit Sara @ Tonic! You will not be sorry.

Terri is an absolute professional when it comes to color and cut. I had been getting my hair done at another place for almost 10 years and I have strawberry blonde hair. My hair never came out the same. To top it off the last time I asked for it to be changed she chased me and threatened to kick my ass! Talk about bad customer service. I was recommended by a friend and now I have been going to Terri at Tonic Salon for over 6 months. She makes my hair look amazing and the same way everytime. Terri listens and takes great pride in her work. If you have blonde hair go see Terri, she understands blonde hair.

I’ve been going to Terri for years and have always LOVED her work. She’s patient, thoughtful, artistic and always puts her client’s needs first. When I wanted to change my hair color from one extreme to the other, she helped me come up with a plan to make a gradual, progressive, and healthy (for my hair) transition. I know it’s sounds corny, but seriously, I’ve had several people tell me I look 10 years younger since getting my new ‘do’. It’s amazing what a great stylist can do! :)
The two coolest things about Terri’s new place are — location and uniqueness! The drive to her previous place was a bit far for me, so you can imagine how happy I was to find out she was opening a new salon in Los Gatos! The new location is adorable — easy access to the freeway, on-​site, free parking, even a Trader Joe’s across the street for a quick stop in after getting my hair done! The interior is even better — chandeliers, huge mirrors, antique styling chairs, and real furniture — yes REAL FURNITURE! Not that hotel stuff you normally see in salons, but original pieces hand selected by Terri to give her place a warm, homey, chic feeling. Oh, and did I mention the fully stocked, complementary sweets buffet?
I obviously can’t speak highly enough about Tonic Hair Studio, so you’ll have to go see for yourself! Tell Terri I said hi! :)
