I began seeing Elizabeth for pilates in late November. A friend of mine goes to her and has had good results. I had been having pain in my right hip/sciatica, lower back and hamstring. I needed some rehab to balance me out and felt pilates was just the right type of exercise. Elizabeth has a fully equipped pilates studio right above the fitness clinic accross from Trader Joes. She thoroughly evaluates your muscle function and has some cool technology to help her do so. She gave me exercises specifically tailored to my problem and homework every time. She writes out all your exercises for you so you won’t forget them. I was religious about the exercises and saw her regularly if not as often as I would have liked due to my crazy schedule. About once every 2 weeks. And within 1 month I had reduced pain and as of last week my pain is totally gone. I have exercises to keep my stable and will definitely see Elizabeth at The Pilates Center of Los Gatos whenever I feel my muscles are out of balance.
