We went to Shuly’s for dairy-​free birthday cupcakes to accommodate one of our son’s friends. Due to the layout of their prep stations, our dairy-​free cupcakes would be vegan. I was a little apprehensive because I’ve had some really bad vegan imitations in the past. However, Shuly’s vegan cupcakes were absolutely amazing, so much so that I’d buy cupcakes there for parties without allergic children.

Awesome bakery! Our grandson has severe nut and egg allergies and we didn’t think he’d ever be able to have «store bought» bakery goods. Have had their cupcakes, chocolate chip cookies and amazing chocolate layer cake and all products were top notch. Shuly’s is as good, if not better, than most regular bakery’s around. Now if we could get some restaurants to have these desserts offered.. .just sayin!

Finally a place my peanut allergic son can go and get whatever he wants. We got one of everything. The owner and kids were great and really friendly. We will be back and have been telling our friends.

Yum! I am shocked I just found out about this place this week. I have severe nut allergies and finding a bakery is extraordinarily difficult. I have tried a couple of other places around the state, but their products often taste like cardboard. My favorites so far are the Challah and the Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough cupcake. Shuly’s products were absolutely amazing! Everything I bought is absolutely delicious, fresh, and in fact better than products I have gotten from most standard bakeries! They have a great selection, and the family is great. I am excited to keep buying products from Shuly’s in the future~

Anyone who knows a family that has been missing out on eating baked goods because of allergies should try this place. A family-​operated, nut-​free facility. I am not nut-​free, but will support any delicious baked goods and these fit the bill! Quality ingredients and service with yummy results. I have tried the cinnamon rolls, baked bread rolls, Mocha Bell cupcake, and Espresso cupcakes. All have been wonderful. If anything to complain about would be that my teeth hurt from the sweetness! HA! No really, the cinnamon roll could have less sugar and still be amazing, and the Mocha Bell was a little too much frosting and ganache and not enough cake for me, but I still enjoyed eating them.

Shuly’s Bakery is truly a gem. If you are someone with a child with severe food allergies you can appreciate how hard it is to find a bakery to accommodate this and that you actually trust will follow all cross contamination rules. I’ve scoured the internet and Unilocal and there are literally no bakeries I can walk in with my daughter and allow her to pick something knowing it is safe for her to eat with her severe peanut/​tree nut allergy. Not only is Shuly’s Bakery safe but the treats are delicious and beautiful to eat.
We are so thrilled she has opened her bakery and we have a place to go to get yummy treats. My daughter can also finally get a bakery cake for her birthday and stop by for a cupcake when we are going to a birthday party.

I stopped in here to pick up some holiday treats for my nieces that have severe allergies to peanuts and sesame. I was pleasantly surprised by the nice selection of beautifully prepared goodies. They also have some Gluten free selections (good to note for next time). The staff was incredibly helpful with me to make my selections. I will surely be back there, not only for myself, but also for some treats for my office staff that have similar food allergies. LOVE THIS PLACE!

This bakery means that my nut allergic son can walk into the room filled with yummy, beautiful treats and sweets, and pick anything he wants. This bakery is a tremendous service to the food allergy community, and I hardily thank you for making safe treats. We took home a box filled with a sampling of different items from cupcakes to brownies to sweet rolls. Nothing remains! Everything was super tasty. We’ll be back for sure. Probably even this week!

OMG! Try the cupcakes! No! Try the cookies! No! Try Joe’s WORLD famous cinnamon rolls! No… well…you get the picture! A word of caution, don’t go unless you plan on being a permanent fixture there! I just wish they’d offer me a job! Awesome and I mean seriously awesome!

We loved Shuly’s treats!!!
We first heard about Shuly’s Bakery from a friend who is Gluten-​Sensitive. She «highly-​recommended» and raved about her cakes, cupcakes, etc. She mentioned that a storefront would open soon in Los Gatos. We are so happy that it finally did — YAY!!!
They have «Vegan», Gluten-​free”, «Nut-​free» and «regular wheat» items. Each being carefully separated and labeled within their display case to prevent cross contamination.
My husband loved the Chocolate Mocha cupcake was (regular wheat).
Our son loved the Chocolate cupcake with vanilla frosting (gluten free).
I really enjoyed the texture and taste of the soy nut butter cookie (nut free), it wasn’t too sweet or off tasting.
I’m going back for the gluten-​free gingerbread boys.
