The customer service here was absolutely amazing. The woman working was soooooo helpful and brought me a bunch of bathing suits that she thought I would like. I felt very comfortable around her too which is always good when shopping for bathing suits!

Cute stuff… expensive. Brand names… you’ll pay full price (maybe more). Had Luli Fama, L Space, Body Glove, Vitamin A. Decent selection. Average price of some cover ups/​dresses/​suits $ 120+++ (tags on just a few things that were cute were $ 180/​$ 190). Had some stylish/​trendy trucker hats and some overpriced trendy jewelry.

2 stars for the good selection but WAY over-​priced. The sales clerks were helpful until after I made the purchase. I came back later with a problem with the bikini top, never wore it let alone took the tag off and they would not let me return it a week later. Sales people are more interested in tricking me into a purchase than maintaining me as a long-​term customer… I’m very disappointed with my experience.

It’s a little expensive for me (but aren’t a lot of swimwear spots these days?). I found a beautiful swimsuit on a mannequin and couldn’t resist stepping inside. It was dark brown with an interesting long wrap, which made it a versatile wear. The price turned me away, but weeks later I was still thinking about it and knew I had to return. Of course I bought it and since have happily and confidently hit the water. On both occasions, the employee was friendly and quickly following up with assistance.

Love, love, love this store! I don’t like bags, jewelry or shoes, I like bikinis. Palapa Lounge carries Vitamin A, my fav, and L Space both of which carry really cute bikinis for busty girls which is so hard to find. I have done one special order with them as well and the suit came to my door step super-​fast! I just completed my second special order yesterday and can’t wait to get my newest Vitamin A. The staff is super helpful and friendly which makes shopping easy as well.

Great customer service! I purchased a Nanette Lepore bikini top on the Bloomingdales website only to find that the bottoms were sold out! Being a last season item, the super cute boy cut bottoms that I had to have were nowhere to be found on any website out there. I called 4 stores on Labor Day and nobody picked up. I came across Palapa on Unilocal and decided to give them a try. I hit their voicemail, hung up. 1 minute later, I received a call from Karen, who I think is the owner, apologizing for not picking up the call. She was outside sweeping. I asked if she carried this item and she said no, but that she could try and order it for me. I’m thinking — score! These swimwear spots must have the hook ups right? I was so grateful for her willingness to help. I was fully expecting her to just say no they do not carry this last season item and sorry, you’re assed out. I’m not sure if Palapa will be able to locate this item for me, but 5 stars for effort!

There WAS a Bikini top I FELL in LOVE with. It would match my beach bunny swimwear. I was happy to find a mix ‘n matcher and was going to try it on.
However, I really needed to tinkle. I saw the restroom from the corner of my eye. Remembering the etiquette my Mother taught me, I asked permission first.
«Is that the bathroom? Can I please use it?» Snooty sales clerk shot me down. «YES, its a bathroom but its for employees only.»
Um. OK. Awkward. NO one is in here right now. The store was empty. I guess you don’t care to make a sale. Wonderful management rules. Hope you stay in business!

Great shop for cute suits… Bought two suits here for the summer, one 2 piece and a 1 piece suit. Great location and friendly staff.

I purchased a suit from here in the end of May, it was specifically to fit the needs of a photo shoot that was taking place out of town. 3 days after I purchased the swim suit, this was 1 hour before my photo shoot was scheduled to start. I put on the suit & discovered a large hole in the bottoms, near the seam where the front at back fabrics connect. I immediately called the store & left a message,. The exchange/​return policy (which is printed on the receipt) states exchanges can be made to unworn items with original receipt, within 7 days of purchase. Due to the damage of the suit I was forced to frantically find a new bathing suit to fit the requirements that were needed, and spend an additional $ 120.00. Now by the exchange/​return policy stated on their receipt I definitely deserve a complete and full exchange, for anything in the store, since it was unworn, brought back with original receipt & I called as soon as I noticed the damage (that was not caused by me). It has now been over 2 months, I have left over 4 msgs on the stores answering machine, spoke with sales associates on at least 5 different occasions, and the owner will not return my calls. The swim suit along with the receipt has been at their store since the first day I went in to show them the damage. I am extremely disappointed with their business practice & extreme lack of customer service. The damage to the suit was a manufacturer error & error by the employees for not inspecting their products before selling them. DO NOT SHOP HERE!!!
