Who is writing this place bad reviews? Literally every sandwich ive had here has been amazing. I live right around the corner and end up here a lot. Love their chicken parm slathered in red sauce like it should be. Their cold sammies are also delicious and come with a lot of tasty toppings if you get it mikes way. It’s pricey but the sandwiches are huge and delicious, so definitely worth it. And you can get tasty kakes here, apparently they’re tough to come by on the west coast but they got them here.

Staff is competent and friendly. Their signature sandwiches are all very good, especially the Big Kahuna… a Philly Cheesesteak with jalapenos. Ingredients are fresh and its close to my work, which makes it very convenient. They also support the local schools and youth athletics which is very cool. I’m a regular.

This was my first time eating at jersey Mikes and it was a great experience! Right when I walked up to the line, the employees were all very polite and engaging with me along with the other customers. I tried a sub they recommended and it turned out to be a fantastic sub. I will definitely be returning.

We ordered turkey sandwiches to go. No joke, they put at least 1⁄3 cup of oil on each sandwich! Gross! The sandwiches were totally inedible and ended up in the trash. We were initially alerted to the problem about 15 minutes after we took our sandwiches into the car, and noticed that the oil had leaked out of the double paper wrap, through the bag, and was making an oil slick on the carpet! Have not been back. In fairness, the other ingredients looked good and fresh, so possibly my sandwich was due to the inexperience of an employee in training. I am not opposed to trying it again. I just need to say NO to the oil.

Sandwiches are amazing and super delicious. Place is very nice– clean and not too small to have lunch at– Good location. Staff was s group of teenagers or early 20 year olds who were all very nice and polite– however they didn’t pay that much attention to their customers as they did to one another making jokes and conversating amongst themselves /which is totally fine if they can multi task. That didn’t seem to be apparent though. When asked if we wanted something on our sandwich — whatever we replied with two of the boys at the counter thought it hilarious to answer«no» or «too bad» to whatever we would say. They thought it was great to tell their customers they couldn’t have something or had to have something they asked not to have. After having to wait to get rung up and get our food because of their side conversations that could have waited until after the line was out the door– the hilarious no game was a tad annoying. Again, love the food-/sandwiches are amazing and staff was nice– just wasn’t our idea of fun to sit and listen to them talk to one another while we waited for them to help us.

Finally went back at the urging of a friend who wanted a cheese steak. The service was good today, not too long of a wait… Food was OK, pretty tasty actually. Free cookie for being a first time customer, just mention it. Bummer that it’s almost ten dollars for the smallest cheese steak, but he closest competitor is Amato’s(read, not that close).

Wouldn’t be surprised to see this place out of business in less than a year. Whoever the owner is needs to reevaluate their training process. Your staff is soooo confused about how to make a sandwich, it’s pathetic. Mixing up the sandwich tops, unsure about what toppings go on which sandwich, giving sandwiches to the wrong customer, and worst of all, taking 10 – 15 mins to make a freaking sandwich! This is not a one time issue. I’ve been here 4 or 5 times and it’s been the same every single time. You need a manager there who has things under control. Instead, you just have a bunch of undertrained confused high school kids. It’s too bad because most of the sandwiches are pretty good, but I’m done with this place.

I have yet to find something as amazing as Jersey Mike’s #7 with honey mustard. And I feel like I’ve given it fair game. While some other sub shops come close, this is a staple in my life, and will be forever. This location is probably my favorite yet. It’s in a great little area, it is extremely clean and well-kept, and the staff was unbelievably nice. The fact that the owner recognized me from other locations was an added bonus! If you’re going to stop in, you must try your sub Mike’s Way. Seriously. It’s mandatory, it’s what they do best. Don’t come in thinking you’re going to switch it all up and take some of the options off the table, because then you’re really not getting a Jersey Mike’s sub, now are you?! My secret tip is the honey mustard. Seriously, just try it.

I tried JM’s after seeing the build out and it’s close to my office so I tried it a few weeks back on a weekday. Crisp, clean new shop so that was a plus. There were only 2 – 3 customers in front of me and I ordered their #17 Classic hot(size: small) cheesesteak with steak, onions, peppers and cheese. Ordered to-go and was thoroughly disappointed with the sando. It came in a long paper bag and then wrapped in foil tightly like a burrito. I had to do a double take as I thought I was unwrapping a burrito… To my dismay, the bread was soft but so crumpled and smashed it was almost soggy. And the sando was like 80% bread and 20% ingredients. I was bummed. And it wasn’t until the last 2 – 3 bites that I actually tasted/ate peppers. There were more onions and very little peppers. What happen to portion balance people? I would rather have gone to Amato’s on Saratoga(in SJ) for a fatty proper cheesesteak. have you seen their portions! Money’s worth! Not rocket science to make a classic Eastcoast Jersey style cheesesteak. What a shame. I dont recommend their hot sub, but I doubt I would go back and try any other menu items. I paid nearly $ 10 for this sando and for 6−7″ for a hot sando, I’d rather go to Beach Hut Deli or Togo’s or an Indy sando shop. Would not recommend.

Delicious! We got a special cheese steak with mushrooms and it was one of the best! It was also huge! One sandwich was enough for two people. They also carry unique snack cakes from Pittsburgh. Prices were reasonable, but the menu was a little small, but still worth the trip. The staff was nice and helpful and the restaurant was clean.

Great sandwich spot and walking distance from my work. Inside is nice and clean, staff is SUPER friendly and even asked to refill my drink as I was sitting down eating. Definitely service and staff that goes above and beyond. I had the Jersey Mike’s Philly Cheesesteak and it was delicious. Came out piping hot and the bread was fresh and soft. I would have wanted a bit more meat though, but all in all a very delicious sandwich and can’t wait to come back and try their other sandwiches in the future.

I don’t eat sandwiches often, but I thought I’d give Jersey Mike’s a try because I’ve never heard of them before, and being from the neighborhood, it was strange to see this new sandwich shop occupying a place where a liquor store and an American restaurant stood for over 40 years. I ordered a chipotle cheese steak. The meat and sauce were pretty good, but it was difficult to tell if there was anything else even in it. Having almost never gone to sandwich shops, I stood in line after placing my order thinking I was going to choose toppings for my sandwich. Apparently not. The guy making the sandwiches handed me mine(and the gentleman’s in front of me) before I paid, and I had to step out of line to grab it. It wasn’t until I sat down and started eating that I realized I hadn’t paid yet. I went up to pay and was caught off-guard by the tipping screen when I paid with my credit card. I honestly expect workers in this restaurant to be paid hourly, and I’m sure they are. I’m somewhat confident the tipping prompt is only put in place so they don’t have to pay overhead for credit card fees. Talk about cheap. I added a 15% tip for the sole purpose of not wanting to feel awkward, and because the workers were pretty friendly. Maybe I should bring cash next time. I ordered a small size sandwich, which after tip came to $ 10 and change. It filled me up, but it seemed a couple bucks too pricey. It wasn’t bad at all; just nothing to write home about.

Fan of every locale ive been to so far. Having been out of the country for a while ive been hankering for American eats. The secret menu #99 cheesesteak hit the spot. Actually adding bacon made it even better. Employees always seem to be cheerful and outgoing. Got my sandwich super quick and it hit the spot. This quiet part of Los Gatos is getting some interesting food options and im sure ill be back again soon

This is a fairly new place that just opened a month ago. I like the décor, lots of indoor seating. Free refills on soda’s. This location is close to my house which is nice. The cheesesteaks are so yummy. For a small is $ 12, a large is $ 15, the only downfall is the price, there rent must be really high. At other places outside the Los Gatos Area, a normal size would cost $ 8, so paying $ 7 more than normal is crazy. I would not eat here often based on the price, only once in a great while. This is also good for kids, they do offer cold sandwiches as well. The line was not long, moved very quick, the staff was great(very good customer service), no mix-ups on my order, and the wait for the cheesesteak was under 10 minutes, they brought to my table.

We thoroughly enjoyed our subs. They were made fresh and didn’t take long to wait. But don’t go in here thinking it’s like Togo’s. The quality is far better, and it takes awhile to assemble quality. There are many options. The bread was fresh. There was a decent amount of seating, and places to wait if you were to go. And I loved that they had a separate register for those people who phoned in or used the web to order so they didn’t have to wait in a long line. We will definitely be back.
