I sure hope this guy is retired. Between the vile mouthed tatted up back office staff and the non-diagnostic determination I needed my gallbladder removed for which his comrades disagreed, I clearly would not see this doc.-ever-again! I confronted the woman after she hung up on me as well… the follow up, was a short grammatically flawed note typed on a 1981 IBM selectric with spelling errors from Devilla himself informing me I he was discontinuing having me as a patient! LOL. The guy is inane.

This doctor seems very knowlegable.
But he doesn’t really care about his patients. He rather just order expensive test than treat a patient.
My second visit, he left our exam room 3 times to help someone else and saw me less than 5 minutes. Only enough to time to schedule yet another expensive test.
I had to beg to get results of the the last test. Since he couldn’t help me… he must thought I didn’t care about the results.

I’ve had a Schatzki or esophagus ring for over 40 years and have seen several doctors. Dr Davilla is a keeper! He explains the details of the condition and the options. I received much more information from him, including detailed printouts, than all other docs combined.
I’ve had two office visits and two dilation surgeries with Dr. Davilla. There were no complications or pain.
His front office staff is his wife and she is very friendly and efficient. I avoided other doctors because although the reviews about the docs were great their front office staffs were considered sub-par.
