Before my husband and I asked Eric Corey to bid on our steep, tortuous driveway in Felton, CA, we were quite familiar with his work. He had worked on various occasions for our road association and several neighbors. Eric is in high demand so we finally got the work scheduled last month and he and his team absolutely exceeded all our expectations. Not only our driveway is steep in places but it is also narrow and it has three culverts to be dealt with. Eric met all the challenges with some beautiful attention to details: where the driveway meet a retaining wall, there is not a smudge and the asphalt joins to the cement carport seamlessly. He even managed to protect the landscaping along the way. Now instead of our dusty dirt driveway, we have a beautiful black ribbon going up to the house.

My neighbor had some paving done by Corey and Sons. I was so impressed with the quality of the work I decided to get a quote for paving my driveway.
They needed to meet up with the existing asphalt and butt up to concrete; both ends look perfect. I’ve seen many other similar jobs in the area and the two that Corey and Sons installed are the best by far.
Aaron and Chris were very personable and professional. The quote was fair. They did not ask for extras at the end (even though the tear out ended up being deeper than contracted).
They also started on time and finished on time. It is rare that I finish a job with a contractor and both of us are happy. Aaron did exactly what our contact stated and performed extra.

I am the president of my private road association and anyone who has experience with living on a private road knows how challenging it can be. Getting a big paving job organized is hard enough, but for everyone to be happy with the result, forget about it! Well, we are the 1 in a million and it is in great part due to Eric and his team at Corey & Sons. I can’t say enough about these guys. They did a BEAUTIFUL job on our road. It is up in Aldercroft Heights (a challenging area to begin with) and was in absolutely TERRIBLE shape — some parts hadn’t been mended in 25+ year. They finished the job in a couple of days and did it for a price that no other reputable contractor could touch. I would recommend Corey & Sons without hesitation to ANYONE.

Erik gave me a very very fair quote to start with. Of course the job turned out to be more work than we thought. Erik, the owner, stuck to the job until it was complete and didn’t turn around and jack the price up. Erik takes a lot of pride in his work and does the job right– a true rarity!!! We have a lot of experience dealing with contractors and guys like these are truly hard to find. Thanks, Erik!
