Automobuild is a magical toy store with imaginative toys, books and gifts for kids of all ages. It’s famliy-​owned and operated. Autombuild often hosts book signings with famous and/​or local authors, musicians and guests to the delight of their customers. The staff is extremely accessible and helpful if you are shopping for gifts or have questions about a particular item. Free wrapping is available, too. I highly recommend Automobuild.

We love Automobuild! They always have a great selection of toys for every age range and do a terrific job of rotating inventory so that it is always fresh and on trend. We shop there a lot for birthday gifts and the sales people have always been very helpful in helping us find the perfect gift. And when my kids have saved up enough money they always ask to go to Automobuild to spend their savings — what better reference is there?

Automobuild is a fabulous locally owned toy store in the heart of Los Gatos. We shop at Automobuild for birthday gifts and usually find something for ourselves! They have unique toys that you don’t always see in other toy stores and their inventory is constantly changing as they source new and fun games and toys. The staff is always helpful and they gift wrap for free! We love Automobuild and are happy to support locally owned small businesses!

I love this store, we used to shop when it was on Main street, but, parking was difficult, now that it is on Santa Cruz, parking is so easy. I can always find toys for Birthday and all other gifts. I love the employees, always helpful!!! Thank you for moving!!! A great variety of everything!!!

What a great toy store with so many selections in every age range. They have classic style toys for a toddler: riding/​wheeled items, balls, dolls and building sets in every variety (duplo, blocks, magnetic). Plus the bigger kid section with board games, educational items, and kid crafting (yarn, jewels, rubber bands, paints, etc). Modest selection of reading books but many more activity/​coloring books-​an impressive variety with items I’ve not seen elsewhere. There is also a small selection of décor type items for a kids room and clothing accessories. You are sure to find something you like.

This place is awesome!!! We come here to support our local toy store and buy birthday gifts for friends — they have a great selection of toys, games, seasonal items and TONS of hands on demos to try out. We always leave with some great gifts (giftwrapped in the store!!) and some new cool toys for home.

My kids really love this store. The staff is friendly and helpful. The store offers a lot of toys, products and books that you do not find at Toys R US. The workers are helpful when you need help, and also don’t seem to mind or are annoyed when kids use the bikes and toys. The place does feel a bit crowded, but I think its a great shop

I was there last week, I stood in line waiting to pay for a kids costume, there were only one person in front of me, two cashiers, one lady was moving slowly gift wrapping the toy, and the other lady was talking to a man, I stood there for good 5 minutes but none of them let me know they will be helping me any time soon, they didn’t even look at me at all, maybe they just don’t care. Very disappointed.
I left and didn’t buy. I will not buy anything from here, there are plenty other toy stores selling the same thing.
