While traveling on I5 we were hungry and I searched for the closet restaurant. This place popped up and had decent reviews so we decided to give it a try. I can honestly say that were very, very glad that we did. They were out of al pastor so we had only carne asada tacos and they were excellent. The tortillas were great with nice texture and the meat just right — neither greasy nor dried out. They also had a very nice pico de gallo available. I would be happy to visit this truck again.

Quite possibly the best Tacos I’ve ever had! The asada, salsa, pico de gallo, cheese and tortillas were all top notch. I reall can’t even describe how awesome these tacos are. I will never miss a chance to stop at this truck again! If only they had another one in LA…

We stopped here on the way from LA to SF because the place had a very good rating. It was so worth it! We shared a quesadilla, a regular chicken taco(great mix of spices on the chicken!) and two beef«super» tacos, which had avocado and sour cream on them: SOGOOD. All the ingredients were fresh fresh fresh and served with a smile. We will definitely stop here again.

The drive from the Bay Area to Los Angeles sometimes feels interminable, but this taco truck is such a gem and a way better alternative to Burger King, McDonalds, or Taco Bell, since fast-food joints are pretty much the only other thing you’ll find along this stretch of nothingness. You’ll find this stop at the Shell gas station — stop here for gas, and grab some food from here and it will help make your road trip that much better. Or don’t even get gas, and just come here for the food. Thanks to everyone else who raved about the super taco, I got one super taco($ 3) and one regular taco($ 2), both with chicken. I wolfed both of them down super quickly, wished I could eat more, and told myself I would try to come back on the drive home from LA to SF, or at least on another trip down South. Skip all the fast food joints for better tasting and cheaper food here.

Stopped at this Shell for a quick bathroom break on the way back from LA. WOW! There’s not much out here so I was pleasantly surprised to find some great food out of this little blue taco truck! The chicken burrito was delicious and the salsa was good too. The red one had a real kick to it! This place will definitely be my stopping point on a trek from Norcal to Socal!

Thanks to Unilocal,we found this perfect spot on our road trip from LA to Tahoe. The burritos were delicious with fresh meat, onions, avocado, beans and cilantro. The mild salsa is somewhat spicy. Delicious! We will be back!

Um, can we say delicious, cheap and spicy? All the things I look for in good taco stops. Ordered the super tacos and they have real sliced avocado! Good chicken too, they didn’t use the crappy kind. We’re definitely coming back again in our many drives from SF to LA. Please support them so they continue to serve up deliciousness!

There green and red chilis are perfect amount of heat with great flavor. The burritos are perfectly rolled so they are not messy which is always a plus. Conviently locacted right off the I-5 fwy. Carne asada tacos fresh and cheap and fairly typical with several fresh salsas and limes available, $ 2 each. Asada fries were average with fake sauce cheese and not as crispy as I normally look, but still good. Open til around 8pm. Worth the quick and easy stop for convince and quality! A small table nearby and drinks purchasable at the Shell station which is fun for variety.

This place hit the spot after driving 3 hours and passing up McDonalds after McDonalds. Had the super chicken tacos, which were fresh and delicious. Good and fast food, but not fastfood!

Al pastor burrito and taco were bland. Added the orange hot sauce it tasted better, but be warned it is spicy!

Delicious carne asada burrito. Stopped at the gas station and found this gem! Such a good find! The perfect amount of hot sauce, avocados, meat, rice and beans. My first time having a burrito with sour cream… will definitely not be the last. Portions were perfect… and it was only $ 6.50!!!

One the road home from Crescent City(a very long way from home) and until now I have only had time to hit drive-thrus for a quick meal. I am so glad I stopped to refuel as I stumbled upon this little gem of a food truck! — Tacos de lengua for my boys and a carne asada torta for myself… soooo good!!! Gal told me the truck is here daily. Be sure and support this place; the food is well worth it!

Delicious, fresh and priced right. $ 3 for a super taco is fair when so fresh(especially when it’s the only choice for miles). Thanks Unilocalers!

Do not ignore this Truck! I-5 at the Mercy Springs Exit in the parking lot of the Shell gas station. She was just closing at 8:15 pm when we drove up — and… she stayed open! We ordered 4 super tacos, 2 Pork and 2 Beef. Served on corn tortillas with sour cream, cilantro, onion and avocado these were indeed«Super»! Check my posted photo for the phone number for takeout and the posted menu.

This little Taco Truck deserves 6 stars in my book! First of all I would never eat out of a food truck, but all these 5 star reviews had me extra curious! Either this was a sham or it is Actually that good! Well, the verdict is out, this Taco Truck is Excellent!!! We had 5 Pork Super Tacos w/Tongue — beyond delicious and fresh, and made to order! Each Super taco is $ 3 + .50c for tongue, totally worth every penny! If I was you, I would bypass all the average 2⁄3 star sandwich shops, restaurants and come directly to this Taco Truck! Thanks Unilocalers for sharing your reviews and letting us know about this place! Keep on Unilocaling Everyone! :)

Best tacos I’ve had outside of Mexico. Try the Super Tacos(especially Al Pastor) and you won’t regret it…

Snacks on a road trip are essential — just like getting gas for your car. And there’s nothing more exciting than having a quarter tank in a gas guzzler, driving by a sign that says«Next Stop 56 Miles». So when you see a singular gas station on the otherwise empty roadside of a long stretch, you pull over — even knowing that prices will be higher than anywhere else. This taco truck just happened to be setting up shop when we arrived and although not particularly starved, there’s something about a road trip that makes the tummy grumble. In lieu of some gas station junk food, fresh whipped up tacos seemed like a much better alternative… And yuuum! So glad we ordered tacos! We order a head, steak, and tongue taco for $ 2.50 each — meat, cilantro, onions.(For a buck more you also get avocado, cheese, sour cream and salsa). All three were super tasty and the two girls running the truck were very pleasant and the tacos came out quick. Bonus: Lengua tacos comes with grilled onions on the side! Yumyumyum — I’m sure can order them w any taco. All the salsa bar items were fresh and didn’t look like they’d been sitting all day. Bright slices of crispy radishes and freshly made pico de gallo(instead of regular jalapeños, they used some smaller chilies… Really packs a punch. — my gums are still tingling a bit 20m later — I loved it, but caution to those who aren’t spicyholics). They have the orange and green sauces AND the guac sauce(bonus points for that!). Fantastic pit stop snack: D
