My daughter has routine labs, so at least once every 3 months, we come here. Our family favorite is the jalapeño, cream rolls. In fact, when we have family visit from other states, they end up getting some of their delicious rolls. Everything I’ve tried has been excellent. About a month ago I had a chile verde super burrito. Very generous portion, a little on the pricey side, but delicious.(I have noticed that most of the burrito places in town have been edging up the prices.)
Customer service– One morning I was there before they opened. The lady saw me come up to the door and actually let me in. I had to wait a few minutes, but she served me fresh, hot, right out of the oven rolls. This happened 20 minutes before they were truly open. If that’s not excellent customer service, I don’t know what is. I wish I had gotten the name of that nice lady.

And yes, the best time for pastries is around 7 or 8 when they open. They have a good selection and a decent bargain grab bag section. They have a burger menu I’ve yet to try, but the burritos are good. The burritos were better when they weren’t as pricey, but they are still pretty awesome. The bean and cheese burritos are great too. The jalapeño and cream cheese bread is a favorite of mine here and I highly recommend it. The customer service is awesome and I will continue to go here. Its worth a shot if you haven’t tried it before. Even if the reviews as of now aren’t as satisfactory.

A few locals rave about their Mexican pastries, but everytime I visit, the selection isn’t great and the actual pastries are dry and flavorless. Maybe you have to visit at 5am to get the selection and the freshest pastries…
