Dr. Zapata is an excellent doctor. Though his clinic in Los Angeles is always full of people waiting to be seen by him, he always has the time to make his patients feel important by finding the time to listen to them, diagnose accurately and gives valuable suggestions to improve the health of his patients. He also calls once the results of the lab tests are available whether the result is normal or not. I also like the fact that he does not rush his examination. His office staff are also great — very courteous, helpful and friendly.

Dr. Rey Zapata is a great doctor. I first came to see him last year (2013). They have decent waiting area and their location is not bad. You’ll find a parking right away or you can park in the building for $ 2 for 2 – 3 hours or on the street for free. The staff are super nice and friendly. And they are open on Saturdays too. I’m gonna keep Dr. Zapata as my primary doctor and would recommend him to family and friends. If you’re looking for a knowledgeable family doctor, I’d recommend him.

Love Dr. Zapata. Been with him for almost a decade now. He is not one of those Mds who push unnecessary rx on you. Just whatever is best for your health. Great staff.

I don’t personally know Dr. Zapata, or anybody from his staff and I’m giving this physician and their staff a full blast stars!
I’ve been switching insurance from one to another w diff PCP’s. I chose him to be my Primary care Dr. after one of my office mate told me to try him.
Well, first visit impressed me already, because I didn’t wait that long, his MA’s are very caring, they review your chart first before talking to you so they know what’s going on with you (unlike others, just get your ht and weight period) and to top it all– Dr. is not in a rush to talk to u and ask what other health issues you wanted to discuss w him. My requests for referrals to my specialists were quick too!
