Yum Yum Donuts

I know this place had bad reviews and I am only giving it a 3 star because the service was sub par but the donuts were actually pretty good and it was really inexpensive. I would go back but with little expectation of great service.

Standard doughnuts, nothing fancy. The guy behind the counter had trouble understanding which doughnuts I wanted. I asked him if the one I was pointing to had apple filling and he said yes, but it didn’t.

This place sucks. A couple of weeks ago I asked for a «Strawberry Banana chilla» and the guy had no clue how to make it. I paid for it and once I left the donut shop, I tried it and it tasted absolutely horrible. I went back, I mean I had taken a sip of the drink once I stepped out. I walked back in and told him that I didn’t like it. It tasted like plain old milk. So I asked for a refund. Oh and the chilla didn’t even come with a top– I could’ve spilled it any second. Anyway, he said I couldn’t get a refund because I had already taken a sip. So then I asked for strawberries and cream, it looked good. I asked if I could at least pay the difference since he kept saying I couldn’t get a refund on the stupid chilla. He said it was a $ 3 difference and then he said «no, no, it’s a 5 dollar difference» and then I asked «well, how much does the drink cost?» And he replies «ummm I don’t know.» So I got fed up and gave him my 5 dollars and it tasted like crap. I love donuts and all, but I’m never going back to this place again. I guess the guy was new, but what was he doing there alone? He was unfamiliar with prices and didn’t know how to make the drink I wanted. Ridiculous.

I come in here often because its a short walk from my house. Tonight there was a couple infront of me whos card continued to decline at which time the guy let them skip on the $ 10 dollar charge. Then he told me cash only for the donuts because his machine wasnt working and I had to leave. Wont be back fuck you
