Best part of this visit was the shrimp bowl. Food was quite good and at a decent price. Negatives: the girl at the counter, Sara, though nice, seemed like a robot. Talked like she was programmed. I asked the difference in the size of the regular and large and she didn’t know, scrambled around to find the comparisons. And parking stinks, mainly because it is right next to the Burger King. Also, Lankershim seems to always have construction going on and the roads to this place are all jacked up. Besides that, I will probably return.

This restaurant has a bad smell, smells like a bathroom, probably from a sewer line or something

Location is meh but its comfortable inside, staff is okay, food is good. I was there during lunchtime many times and it was never super busy, so you’d get your stuff pretty fast.

This spot is good the food is fresh and cooked fresh. They always get the yoshinoya flavor right! I find myself sending people to get me lunch here often. Quiet and friendly place and yes you can bring a friend or family. I forgot my coupons but it’s ok I’m hungry !

New orange chicken here tastes bad. It was so hard to chew and dry. I have a feeling the meat here is bad in general.

Made us wait for a while just because they ran out of something. Cashier lady didn’t even know what she was doing and she would just say«it will be out in a few.» I’m patient but not patient for waiting 20+ minutes for two bowls. Food was good at least…

Food is okay, I prefer it over other fast food. But I don’t go without a coupon, I don’t think it is a good value otherwise. The tilapia with rice and veggies is the best thing on the menu. My kids love almost everything from this restaurant. The service is usually decent, today I had a rude cashier just walk off while I was trying to talk to her. Not cool.

The food wasn’t half bad(for fast food), but it was a little over priced. I could have eaten the same amount of food at any other fast food joint and have been just as satisfied for half the price. Having said that, there noodles were great. Also, surprisingly, their chicken wings. But, next time I’m in the neighborhood I think I’ll go to little Cesar’s instead.

I have never eaten at a Yoshinoya before now, but I have eaten A LOT of fast food, so I wasn’t surprised. Based on some of the reviews, you’d think Yoshinoya had a plush, sexy storefront and tries to sell their food using the ol’ bait-and-switch. This is not the case. They make it very clear what you’re getting into. Would you like chicken or beef? Can you answer that? Great. You came to the right place. For the truly adventurous — get noodles. We(being non adventure-seekers) got two chicken teriyaki bowls and a 4-pc sesame wings. That and a drink came to under $ 8 with our mailed-out coupon. I could give you a full analysis of the food — but I won’t. I was just happy to eat good fast food after tiring myself out at 2 dollar stores that are in the same parking lot. Perhaps those with more discerning tastes(and bigger wallets) should go somewhere else? The food was yummy, the service was great, and the place seemed clean. Oh, and yes, the parking lot sucks.

Eating peacefully and surfing the web on phone and all of the sudden a woman that looked like a little girl comes into the restaurant and steals some pepsi in her 7up soda bottle… NEVER eating here in LA … again …

4.5 I say! This parking lot sucks! But other than that… this place is awesome. Its healthy-ish, the staff is cool, the price is decent… and even better than that. Food is made to order and its always good and consistent. I eat ALOT! .so I get the combo plate and its a good size that won’t make you hungry right away after you eat it. Def worth a shot if you’ve been on the fence about this place.

They did not accept my coupon from my iPhone, really! They even called the manager to ask if they are willing to get the coupon code and they still said no. Horrible.

As fellow Unilocaler Justin N replied to my check in comment about ghettos’ surroundings, he replied is there a Yoshinoya that is not in the ghetto? Besides the one in Burbank, CA. NOPE there isn’t. I almost didn’t want to come into the parking lot just from seeing the chaos within this mall plex. Luckily I found parking in front of Yoshinoya and I walked in, ordered paid, by the time I filled my drink my order was ready and I was outta of there. Overall it wasn’t a bad meal, I have had a preference over the one in Burbank simply because I think the meat is better there… IDK. it could just be me but I’ve noticed a different taste in different locations, Would I come back again. Yes but not alone again and for the following reasons… As I attempted to pull out of my space, a women in her jeep sped in and almost hit me. really lady the dollar tree isn’t closing yet. slow down. I witnessed a gang fight about to go down in the back of the Burger King area Too many cars driving and not caring at all about pedestrians walking around Just too much for me… headache just wanting to leave… yeah I have to really rethink coming here again.

After 5 visits I had enough. They pour very little teriyaki sauce on your chicken. I have to continue asking to put a little bit more. After them not pouring enough, they still want to charge me for it. On top of that, they also give me attitude.

YOSHINOYABOWLS are better than theirs better than theirs If this jingle doesn’t rape your mind forever. You’re a better person than me. I want to find a version of it to post, but it must be for mindless radio audiences. Go here for lunch when you’re stuck in the hot hell that is the valley for work. Anyway, you really can’t go wrong with what you order here. Beef? Chicken? Bowl? Plate? Vegetables? Do the Gyoza, it’s aight. Really bland. But who doesn’t like Gyoza? I do the BBQ bowl. Yoshinoya is probably gonna cost you about $ 8 and they don’t include drinks with anything. That makes me nuts. What’s up with these butthole corporations saving $.05 on a cup in not including them in the combos? The sugar water crap that serves the drinks is really cheap. Like… really cheap. Quit being cheap fast food of America. You experience ridiculous profits off every item you sell. The labor gets you, but you’re always understaffed anyway. Oh yeah… this is a review not a rant. So… Make sure you ask for condiments. Because they’re real cheap on those. But I feel Yoshinoya is better/healthier than the average burger. Do you like the beef or chicken better? I’m stuck inbetween.

I’m starting to see a trend w/Yoshinoya franchises. Employees are VERY courteous and friendly + they keep the place clean. Great job training! FOOD: I wanted the parentals to try the new chicken teriyaki, but was disappointed since it turned out dry and flavorless. I’m officially OVER the new chicken, and will stick to the basic chicken or beef bowls.
