I was very impressed with my experience with Dr. Stubbeman for assistance with tinnitus. Not only are he and his staff top-​notch and professional, they are also caring and really go out of their way to help. Using TMS for tinnitus appears to be a unique treatment for the individual and Dr. Stubbeman takes his time to understand the individual experience and to adjust the treatment plan accordingly. My experience was positive, and I did get some reduction in loudness, although it was not as much of a reduction as I anticipated at the beginning. I was having trouble sleeping due to the ringing in my ears. At the end of the treatment, I am having less trouble sleeping, which is a positive result on the immediate problem. I attribute this to a dramatic reduction in the anxiety around the tinnitus and feel that TMS positively impacted my quality of life.

Earlier this year I saw Dr. Stubbeman for TMS for my depression which was no longer responsive to medication. I was referred by my treating psychiatrist, Dr. H. Sternbach. The treatment was expensive and my insurance company would not assist with paying for it, however, I have NO regrets for deciding to undergo treatment with Dr. Stubbeman.
Dr. Stubbeman and his staff are professional and kind. I felt they personally cared about my progress and me as an individual. I was provided with weekly/​ongoing meetings with Dr. Stubbeman in which we discussed my progress and his findings via the EEGs. While the TMS treatment took several months, the result has been wonderful! Depression free — including no more seasonal affective disorder!
My only complaint is/​was that occasionally, the treatment room or Dr. Stubbeman would run behind because a treatment took longer than expected. They would always let me know and apologize for the inconvenience. I look at it like this — they were providing the individual attention that one patient needed at that time, and they would do the same for me.
I can honestly say that I recommend Dr. Stubbeman for TMS treatment without reservation!

Dr. Stubbeman is fantastic! He is brilliant and has a deep and profound understanding of the benefits of TMS, and it works as well! I had been depressed for a few years and was unable to work, to be myself, to live any life I enjoyed and felt I had control over. I felt incredibly hopeless and disconnected. Everything in life was ugly. At my worst I was almost suicidal, hopeing to not have to face the day. Dr. Stubbeman was really able to hone in and understand these feelings. He would meet with me weekly to discuss and tailor the TMS protocol to meet my needs. Since stopping TMS I have been able to resume my life, to cope with the ups and downs to find meaning and pleasure in the things that make life wonderful. The staff is professional and organized. They know what they’re treating I would highly recommend him to others, and already have to regain their life back!

My husband had refractive (no longer responsive to medication) debilitating depression. Dr. Stubbeman and TMS were like a miracle. It may require many weeks of TMS treatment to reach a thoroughly effective level for a specific patient, but the time and money are so worth it to regain quality of life and the ability to work.

I had ben depressed for most of my adult life. Then I found Dr. Stubbeman and he adjusted my medication and I had some relief. But their effect stopped working for me. Being an authority on this fairly new treatment, he used Transcrainial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) I can tell you that my results have been almost miraculous. I can now take care of my family, and enjoy life!
