Arthur and his team are super knowledgeable when it comes to jelwery, particularly diamonds! I bring by set here for cleaning and they always do a fantastic job. They have a gorgeous selection of new fine jewelry as well as vintage pieces. The service is awesome and prices are VERY fair.

A wonderful store. The business owners were courteous and quick. They sized my wedding ring and my engagement ring and gave my husband and I a deal on both. They got the rings done overnight! Highly recommend.

~ Stay Away… Appraisal… ~ Stay Away… I have never experienced a worse customer service in my life. I have had many things appraised before and have ever experienced anything like this… I went there to get a simple 1 ct diamond ring appraised, the guy took my ring handed it it someone else to look at than starting working on a watch. Came back 15 min later and asked me if I could come back tomorrow to pick up the appraisal. What? I have done many appraisals and they do them in 10 – 15 min flat. Than he said or give me $ 5 and I will mail it to you. I don’t want you waiting around. So unhappily I said I would pick it up in the next couple days when I’m in the area. He called me that night and said he forgot to take a picture of the ring and if I could come back in. When I got there again some helper took at picture of the ring than he walked over and asked me can I come back in 2 or 3 hours to pick up the appraisal. Finally I asked are you serious? What would take any Jeweler 15 min he wanted me to invest 3 – 5 hrs of my time. This place just feels shady I will probably pay for another appraisal. You get what you pay for in life and this place is a fail. YOUHAVEBEENWARNED…

They had a sign stating watch batteries for $ 5. When I went in, the guy says it’s an automatic watch, so we need to charge you more. I said no thanks, and as I was walking out he says this time we will do it for $ 5. I should have just walked out, but I was lazy. So I gave him the watch, he opens it and says we need to change the plastic ring around the back, and you guessed it, that’s another couple of $. So I said fine. The worst part was several days later when I noticed they had put a scratch on the back, I guess when they were trying to open it. Do yourself a favor, if you have an expensive watch, go somewhere reputable and spend a couple of dollars more and get quality service.

Since this place had good reviews, I decided to take my fiancé’s wedding ring to this shop to get it resized(to smaller). It is a platinum ring with milgrain detailing along the edges. I got a quote from the owner for $ 65 to resize the ring on the phone. Then when we walked in, and he saw the ring, he said, «oh it’s platinum, so I need to charge you extra $ 20». I turned around and almost walked out the store at that point. He then said… «I want you to come back, so it’s okay, I won’t charge you the $ 20». What I should have done was listen to my instinct and left at that point, because even though the owner promised that the re-sized ring will look exactly like the ring we brought in(I specifically asked if he can resize a ring with milgrain on the edges and he said yes). Then when I came back to pick up the ring, the milgrain on the edges are obviously different at the area where they cut the ring and re-solder it. Even the lady who worked there agreed that it looked obviously different. But the solution they offered? She told me that«once you wear it, it will get dirty and you won’t notice it». Of course that’s what I intend to do with my brand new wedding band. I asked them what they can do now, the lady said, «I can’t do anything, the owner is not here and his mother-in-law just died, so I can’t even call him». I am sorry for your family’s tragedy, but it should not have made my ring into a tragedy too. I asked if they can give me any discounts, and they refused to do anything or give any discount for screwing up my ring. So, overall, what started as a promising good experience ended up with a very disappointing experience. If you don’t care about what your jewelery will look like after they touch it, then by all means leave your jewelery at the store and let them play with it, but I will never come back to this place.

They were fantastic. I’ve heard Westwood/Brentwood/Beverly Hills jewelry shops have a rep of being ultra snooty, and unless you’re dropping a wad of cash, you’re made to feel like an inconvenience. If that’s the case, this place is a remarkable exception. I had separately purchased a ring setting and a loose stone elsewhere, and needed the stone set and the setting resized. Not only did they beat everyone else’s price by a long shot($ 49 total, which was vastly cheaper than the quotes I got from other nearby shops for just the resizing alone), they were kind, did a fantastic job and made me feel like they really appreciated my business. I glimpsed the rings and settings they were offering, and they have some really gorgeous, delicated settings.

Yes. Arthur is a nice man… kind, polite, friendly. But DONOT under any circumstances, sell him a piece of jewelry without getting other offers. I brought him a diamond. He looked at it closely, and offered me $ 4500. I took it downtown to several other jewelers. The LOWEST of my other offers was $ 7500. Most were between $ 9-$ 10K, and I ultimately sold it for $ 12,200. DONOTTRUSTHIM. I am certain he would have smiled at me, paid me $ 4500, and within hours, have turned it around for a sweet 200% profit. WHAT A SHYSTER!

Arthur MADE my fiancé’s engagement ring in two hours. I purchased the ring and the diamond separately and I had a plan to propose on the day before Christmas Eve, but the ring didn’t show up until proposal day. I called everyone and their mom to see if they could make it and not only did Arthur give me the best rate(other places wanted to gouge me for a «rush fee» of $ 100+), he offered to do it while I waited. I came back two hours later and the ring was done and gorgeous. The ring ended up being a little too big so he tried beads, but it was still a little loose, so he tried a ring guard(both times he did it same day). He’s super hands on and very helpful and I recommend him whole-heartedly.

I have been on several occasions and they have terrific customer service and they also do a coupon periodically for $ 2.88 watch batteries, $ 19.50 ring sizing and half off jewelry purchase. It is a small independent business and Arthur, the owner, is very knowledgeable. I bought a really pretty ring there that they designed and always get compliments. It is my first stop when I have jewelry that needs to be fixed.
