West Wilshire Cafe

Amazing little spot across from my work! I was so tired of coffee bean and ⁷⁄₁₁. Cheap fast and great food!!!

The café on my old work building. The Korean couple working here are so nice and friendly every day!!! Food here is good compared to other cafeterias. Food is pretty much made to order unless its from their daily specials. My favorites here are the Korean Bulgogi Specials, Curry Special, and their breakfast sandwiches. They also sell a variety of snacks and beverages. Not bad at all if I don’t feel like leaving the building to eat. A little pricey though.

This is a small café located in the 11 620 office building. To get there, walk into the main lobby and take the elevator down to the LL level or enter through the parking garage. It may be a little difficult to find at first, but it’s well worth it.
It appears to be run by a very competent husband and wife team. The place is sparkling clean and the lady of the team — in particular — is incredibly warm and welcoming to every customer.
Standouts include the soup, which is made fresh daily. I have tried virtually every kind they offer. All have been delicious, filling, and served molten-​lava hot. The West Wilshire’s standard salad is covered with juicy cooked chicken and a tasty and rotating mélange of seasonal ingredients. My co-​workers have tried the daily specials — the Asian-​themed ones, in particular — a number of times and raved. They also have a nice selection of chips.
The coffee is a bit «Meh.» However, I suppose one can’t be good at everything. But, for lunch? Well worth a visit.
PS — FYI they do not take American Express but other credit cards are accepted.

Panini’s are great. Definitely fills me up.
