Weichman Barry DDS

First, I’d like to thank all the Unilocalers that helped me find Dr. Weichman. I was unwilling to take a chance with my root canal going down a list provided by my insurance, and because of the positive experience I feel obligated to pay it forward.
Anyways, Dr. Weichman made getting a root canal as good as it can get. I had absolutely no discomfort during the procedure, and he gave me the play by play of what he’s doing as he went along. He answered any question I had in a very calm matter –which is good because I was freaking out. His dexterity and skills were impressive. The staff was very friendly and took care of my insurance and explained the costs before I went in. They even called a couple days afterward my appointment to check in on me.

I went to Dr. Weichman for a root canal and was very surprised that when I got there, after an x-​ray, Dr. Weichman said the nerve was fine, and that I didn’t need one ! My dentist referred me to an endodontist to check a tooth that was very sensitive. I fully expected to have a root canal done, and was relieved that all I needed was some adjustment of my current crowns. Thanks Dr. Weichman for being honest and ethical. The Dr. was very straightforward, spoke about my current dental situation and discussed what I might expect in the future. (I have TMJ and wear my teeth unevenly) His staff was very pleasant and overall the experience was very positive. I believe he does general dentistry also. I ‘m thinking about switching because he takes my insurance. I like a conservative dentist !

Barry Weichman is an extraordinary dentist. He has come in on weekends when I have chipped a tooth on candy. He deals with discomfort with compassion and empathy.

I hope I never see the man again. AND if I have to have another root canal, I think I would literally fly from another state to have him do it.
His manner, care and skill were stunning.
I had one of those trouble teeth, the ones that give root canals a bad name, with nerves impervious to novacaine. And Dr. Wiechman was remarkable in finding a way to manage that, making sure I was just as comfortable and pain-​free as possible.
I’m sitting here just 4 hours later, writing to tell you. need a root canal? Come to Dr. Weichman.

These folks care. They take the time to listen to your concerns and explain exactly what is going on. I have been shopping for dentists for a couple of years and have had numerous horrible experiences with other dentists in the LA area. These guys are outstanding.
