I have been visiting Wanda for the last five years and everytime she has made me a very happy lady — she knows how to deal with fine hair that decides to kink once in a while!

New to Unilocal,I am here to sing the praises of Wanda Jo, hair stylist extraordinaire. She has been doing my hair for at least 12 years. She is the first person I ever stuck with. She knows color, cuts, how to work with different textures, how to talk you down off a «wrong for you ‘do», how to let you experiment with different styles over a years’ time. She understands the hair-​obsessed and those who just want to get it over with. I have referred many people to her over the years – including strangers who stop me on the street to ask about my hair. The other great thing? Her hair cuts are so architecturally solid they can handle a grow out phase. She’s a hoot on top of it, and I just love her.
