This pharmacy is absolutely horrible. The wait is extremely long even when it’s only a few people. The make errors with almost ever order I have. Plan to wait on the phone to call something in for 30 – 40 min. I got so frustrated today that I tried to call the store manager and they hung up on me. Switching to mail order prescriptions.

Every single time I come here to pick up my medication they mess up. Every single time. No one including the pharmacist knows anything about what is going on.

This pharmacy is a living museum of how 1960’s US gov’t propaganda described life in the former Soviet Union. HORRIBLE pharmacy department! You will wait, wait and then wait some more. If you think the Post Office is bad, this is much worse. Staff is poorly trained in time management and computer system is cumbersome and slow, e.g. it takes several minutes of clicking for staff member to enter a single prescription while you’re standing there waiting! And waiting… You’re doing good if you make it out here in ½ hour just to drop off a prescription, worse during rush hours. And you’ll probably have to wait 10+ minutes to pick it up when you come back. The rest of the store isn’t all that bad, but not that good either. Merchandising feels somewhat sloppy and disorganized. The place seems a bit run down even though it’s only a few years old. Checkout lines are usually pretty long. Definitely not up to West LA expectations. Unless you’re truly desperate, go elsewhere. That fat GoodRx discount may be tempting, but there’s a reason Walgreen’s offers such great discounts on GoodRx.

Parking lot is rough and location is dicey even tho central. However not walgreens fault. Pleasant workers there. Kam is always helpful been going there more recently. Fairly well stocked store.

The pharmacy is understaffed and they offer extremely poor service. They know they are back logged all the times and don’t do anything to expedite the line, as if they don’t really care– it is what it is. It is ridiculous to have customers wait 20+ minutes in line to pick up prescriptions, who has the time!

The line at the pharmacy is insane. I shouldn’t have to wait in a 15 min line to drop off a prescription.

I called to pick up my prescription and was told it was ready. When I get to the store they tell me its not ready and that only a portion of my prescription can be completed now and the rest tomorrow. I asked why wasn’t I told when I called so that I wouldn’t come until tomorrow. No answer. Thanks Walgreen’s. Been waiting here 30 minutes for the first portion and its still not ready!

Always a long line, staff is unfriendly and they lag so hard on getting your prescription. When I call in the hold time for the pharmacy is ridiculous. I’m sitting inside of the pharmacy writing this review because they told me it would take a couple minutes for my prescription to be ready and I’ve been sitting here for half an hour. Definitely going to switch pharmacies.

An okay Walgreens location. The location is close to my house so I come here when I just need something quick. It is a good sized store with plenty of items for each department. This store also sells shirts and simple shoes if you need something quick. The shelves are kept organized on a good day. Associates are nice although often time look as if they are dreading working there. Parking lot located in the back.

Truly a mess. Slow service as everyone seems so overwhelmed, especially in the pharmacy, but ironically even when there is noone in the store. Today I called for my asthma medication and was told one was ready but the other needed refills and they would contact the doc. This was 9am. At 12 I called and was transferred to the pharmacy and put on hold 3 times for a total of 15 minutes before I had to hang up and go to my meeting. When I arrived at 5:30 to pick up my refills not only was the one not available but neither were. They told me that neither one had refills and someone was mistaken when they talk to me. Nice of them to call me and give me a chance to fix it myself, especially since it’s asthma medication and my breathing depends on it. So now my doctor is closed, I didn’t get a chance to call and make it happen myself, and I am stuck trying to figure out an alternative solution. But that’s OK because the pharmacist actually told me if I wanted inhaler I can call 911. What the hell is that? No wonder our system is so whacked. I am sorry to say that this pharmacy had the tendency to ratchet up the anxiety rather than to make you well.

«This new micellar cleansing water ROCKS!» My flawlessly, clear-complected friend raved. «Why?» “Triple purified water with Vitamin B3 and C to gently hydrate, completely removes makeup and there’s NO rinsing!” «Where’d you get it?» «Amazon Prime but Target and Walgreens sell it.» Aha! Walgreens! I want! I want NOW! With an hour in between appointments I braved the lot Walgreens shares with Coffee, Bean & Tea, as well as, News Stand City. A 30-minute parking limit is strictly enforced so says the signage, but I didn’t see any security. All I can say is this is a dangerous lot with tight spaces, an entitled crowd but I wasn’t about to let that stop me in my quest for the perfect HBA product du jour my friend and top models swear by. Back in the day, WAY back in the day this real estate used to be a grocery store, I believe a Westward Ho, later a Bristol Farms and there might have been another retailer prior to Walgreens. Regardless, the ramps at the entrance remain the same while the store configuration lends itself well to strategically placed security cameras. And that’s a good thing as the two staffers in the aisles of beauty never acknowledged me or any other customers while they discussed their party plans. Found the product immediately, perused a name brand makeup kiosk for some BB cream, grabbed a well-known coffee chain’s Blueberry Refresher made with sparkling green coffee to get me through the rest of the day, headed to the check out. Three unattended registers, I put on my best, bewildered look and finally got the attention of an employee more interested in restocking than customers. No, I don’t have a Walgreens card. No, would you like to get one. No, discount. No worries, I had my special, magic skin cleansing water. Two days later, glowing, totally refreshed, pristinely clean skin, I noticed every time I used the cleansing water the bathroom counter was wet. Uh, oh! Me bottle sprung a leak. Now, I can’t say what caused said leakage and if the parking, the energy here wasn’t what it is, I’d return for a replacement/refund BUT this is only a $ 7 item I happily purchased from a mail order merchant over the weekend and will continue to do so, yeah, it’s that good. Parking and lack of customer service prevents this store from being A-OK!

I wouldn’t normally write a review about a chain pharmacy. However, I was told that my daughter’s prescription would be ready in 5 minutes and was even asked to just take a seat and wait because it would be ready very quickly… well, it’s been 15 minutes and I’m still sitting here. I understand that they’re busy but they could’ve just told me it would take longer rather than keep me waiting!

This review is for the pharmacy: 1) The pharmacy staff here are always speaking negatively of other customers amongst themselves. I understand that customer service can be challenging at times, but as a customer the last thing I want to be hearing is how«stupid» another customer is… especially while I’m standing at the counter waiting to be helped. Also, the staff often seem burdened by your presence, and often don’t even bother to interact with you when you’re at the counter. They’re busy being catty with their coworkers, and then mechanically tell you«be well» at the end of the interaction, as if it somehow makes the interaction pleasant! SOANNOYING. This gripes are especially true among the staff who work during weekday evenings. 2) Omfg the lines here are outrageous during weekday evenings! I guess there’s not much they can do about it, but be warned!

So happy to shop a Walgreens. I must admit there challenges with parking and interesting layout but so are many other walgreens in the greater LA area. This Beverly Glen location has been around quite some time and I’ve always really liked it. The pharmacy staff is super knowledgeable especially the manager Rachel. She’s fantastic. She really made a sticky insurance situation much more tolerable. The other ladies that work behind the pharmacy counter are extremely personable too even though it looks busy all the time and the lines never go away. It looks like they are doing all they can to make us feel welcome and cared for. This is a rather small location and carry a smaller selection in the store portion in comparison to the SFValley stores. I think this store has only 8,9 aisles but always get what I came for. And let me share a little walgreens secret with all my helper friends… Look to avoid massive lines by paying in the beauty department. There is always a beauty cashier in a black coat… Shhhh tell everybody. Either way I’ve been shopping walgreens a long time but this location is awesome.

This Walgreens smells awful! I couldn’t stand to be in there for more than 5 minutes. They need to do a deep cleaning.

This is one of the stranger Walgreens I’ve been in … not necessarily in a bad way, just odd. It’s situated at a very busy intersection, but finding the entrance requires some maneuvering. Once in the narrow, slanted parking lot, the spots are not easily accessible. The front entrance drops you down a bit into the store, which almost feels like you’re heading down into a pharmaceutical dungeon. I just can’t wrap my head around the logistics of it. From the street, the store doesn’t appear to be buried, but the sidehill parking lot puts the storefront(which is really a store-back) firmly in the ground. The lady up front was helpful, pointing me to the lactose digestive pills I was hunting, and I was in and out of the place in 4 minutes flat. The other customers in the store were mean and causing trouble, but that’s not the store’s fault — that’s the fault of every human that enables that sort of behavior. Pop a window in this bad boy, and you can get a higher marking.

Typical Walgreens but the season aisle can get pretty cluttered. Live right next door to this Walgreens so I tend to come here if I ever need small items quickly. Parking at his location is terrible… nothing else to be said about that. Prices at Walgreens tend to be more expensive than the other drug stores but their selection tends to be much better as well. The cashiers here are walking zombies, so don’t expect a quick exit.

Guess who flew across the country and forgot her makeup bag? This girl!!! So I had to find a drugstore so I could get some Revlon, Maybelline, Cover Girl, Almay, something… I Google and found a Walgreens less than a mile from my hotel and walked. From the outside it looked like your average Walgreens. When I went inside it reminded me of a store you would find in New York City. When you walked in you could walk down the steps in front of you or down steps to your right. There were alarms on each set of steps to prevent theft. It was a little creepy. When I walked in someone yelled Welcome to Walgreens! All of the cosmetics were in the front of the store which made my shopping experience pretty simple. From the inside the store was a bit cluttered but once I found everything I needed I was able to go back to cosmetics and pay for my things. What I didn’t know: in the state of California there is a charge of 10 cents for all shopping bags. When the girl asked if I wanted a bag, I think I gave her a look because that’s when she proceeded to tell me about shopping bags in the state of Cali. Overall it was a pleasant experience. The cashier was very nice and I found everything I needed.
