So here’s my update: I’ve been living here about 10 months now. Pros: — Still a good neighborhood for a single person or a young couple. Great for exercising outside(sidewalks, close to the park, grassy area out front) –The tenants are mostly younger people probably everyone is under 40 and I’ve only seen 1 child here. –The NEW Manager, Paul is cool. He’s attentive, fixes stuff when you ask and he’s pretty easy to get a hold of because he lives here. — They’ve installed video cameras in the parking garage, laundry room and near the entrances. — The OLDMANAGER used to let people who didn’t even live here pay to park in the garage so everyone had a clicker and the door codes so there were always weirdos just hanging around. That resulted in a few cars being broken into in the garage. The NEW Manager kicked out everyone who didn’t sign a lease to be here and changed all the door codes and garage remotes. So things are nice and peaceful now. Cons: — The parking for your guests will suck unless they visit you in the morning. There is NO guest parking — Sometimes the handyman will come to your apartment to fix or replace things and you won’t get any notification about this prior to him coming. — YOUWILLHEARPEOPLEINTHEBUILDINGHAVINGSEX. I can hear my downstairs neighbor and the one next to me periodically. The walls or floors are thin. I’m moving out soon because I found a bigger place for about the same amount of rent in Burbank. But my time here wasn’t bad.
