This review is for Austin. I think he may be the manager. Fantastic customer service– very gracious. The guy who took my to-go order got confused and gave me 3 Banh Mi salads, rather than the 1 Banh Mi salad and 3 buffalo mini wraps that I ordered. When Austin learned what had happened, he immediately refunded me for the 2 extra salads and insisted on not charging me for the buffalo wraps. I thought it was very generous of him to do that. I’ve seen him before when I’ve come to this location, and I can tell he’s very good at his job and cares about the customers(he even corrected the cashier when he called me by the wrong name). Other than the great good, the service is great as well

Come to Phoenix so I can put myself in debt knowing I’m in such bliss over everything I’ve eaten here. This may or may not be black mail but five stars until this can happen, and I know because of all the other five stars you guys earn my four stars won’t effect the rating.

Love this place. The staff is always very friendly, I actually come 3 – 4 times a week. Their app is probably one of the best for ordering and gifts and rewards too. Hadn’t even known about it until a very nice employee told me. Their banh mi salad is outstanding and such other meals too.

Dear Veggie Grill, these are the reasons why I hate you: 1) I hate that you make amazing Yukon Fries. 2) I hate that you have made me love faux chicken more than actual chicken. 3)I hate that you have hooked me to your imitation sausage to the point where I want it added to any bowl I order, despite the up charge. 4)I hate that your Mac and Cheese isn’t disgusting, like so many other vegan macs out there. 5) I hate that your«Quinoa Veggie Burger» is a good Quinoa Burger finally done right. 6) I hate that your«Crab Cake Sandwich» could easily fool any Crab aficionado into thinking it’s made from actual fish. 7) I hate that your«Santa Fe Crispy Chicken Sandwich» has forever won my loyalty to you. 8) I hate that even something like«The Papa’s Portobello», a sheer mushroom burger, has me drooling and wanting fork over ten dollars for it time after time. 9) On that note, I hate that you could lead me to financial ruin, and I would still die happy with your Yukon fries in my mouth. 10) I hate… that I love you, Veggie Grill.

I’m not vegan but I’m extremely lactose intolerant so, I try to avoid dairy. I was craving a burger but I wanted something relatively healthy which led me to this restaurant. I loved the variety of options which I liked. The gentlemen at the cash register was also very helpful and friendly. He answered any questions or concern that I had about the food. I liked the balance of the ingredients in the Grilled Quinoa + Veg. Burger. It was a little bit on the bland side but I added hot sauce and that helped improve the flavor. I loved the Chao cheese because regular cheese tends to make me really sick. I love the overall ambiance of the space, there’s lots of seating both inside and outside. I thought it was reasonably price and definitely plan on returning again. I’m definite a huge fan of the vegan junk food concept.

So, I was in Hollywood over the weekend and stopped in here TWICE. I’d been before but didn’t leave a review. Had to go back twice for those gosh darn fried green beans… so friggin delish! Also had the quinoa and black bean bowl made soy free. It was also very good, but crammed in a very small cup for the to go order… felt a little cheated. There aren’t that many choices for the soy free crowd, but at least we can get full off of two orders of those green beans. They were fried to perfection… I was hungry so I ate them quicker than a photo would allow. Service is a bit slow because this location is always super busy. But the staff is very helpful and patient with the allergy and ingredients questions. Great try for none vegans with the fake meats.

We have so many positive memories of the branch on Wilshire in SM. But this one was terrible. The mushroom sandwich had cold raw wet mushrooms in the middle and was so disgusting that it ruined our night. I could not believe what I was tasting. My better half tried it and was disgusted. They brought us a poorly made carrot cake($ 4) to replace the $ 10 sandwich. The other items were mediocre too. I have come to the realization that the UCLA children eat just about anything and businesses do not have to even try in this part of town. Everything in the Westwood Village is mediocre and over-priced.

Just ordered delivery from this place from the postmates site. I was a bit skeptical since I’ve never eaten here before and I mean, it’s called veggie grill. I wasn’t expecting much flavor. So I order the grilled chicken sandwich and the Yukon fries as well as the quinoa salad. When we got our order I dove head first into the fries. Delicious! They’re soft fat fries that had an awesome seasoning on top and it was just amazing. One thing I failed to realize though was that this place was a meatless restaurant. I figured it would be like tender greens. I wish I knew that before ordering a chicken sandwich. I had to throw the«chicken» away and just eat the rest of the sandwich since it was so gross with it. The rest of the sandwich though was so delicious. Now, my favorite part of the meal was the kale quinoa salad. It’s so freaking delicious. I don’t even like kale but the dressing really ties everything together along with the toppings the salad comes with. I wish I took pictures but I devoured it all as soon as I got my food.

I was SO disappointed in them today. We ordered the bahn mi salad, the yams, and the cauliflower to go and ALL three had problems. #1: the bahn mi salad didn’t have eggplant. WTF. I order it all the time and it’s so yummy but since it was to go I obviously couldn’t take it back? #2 the cauliflower was cold. I’m pretty sure they gave me someone’s leftovers because they were done the second i ordered and then they just sat there until my yams were done. So by the time I got them they were lukewarm and gross. I tried them the second I got in my car too so it’s not like they had to sit there for my drive home. #3 the yams were ALSO cold and some were burnt and some weren’t, idk of that’s normal but some of it was good and some wasnt. But they barely gave me any of the sauce so it was very inconsistent. I love the chain but I wouldn’t recommend this location.

This was my very first Veggie Grill, back in 2009. They were awesome then and they’ve remained equally amazing over the years. No matter where I am in L.A., I make the drive over here because I love them so. The food is consistently good, as is the service. I do miss the Veggie Stack(please bring it back!), but I love that they have seasonal menus now, in addition to items which are available year-round, like their Buffalo«Wings,» which are amazing. I’ve never had anything that I didn’t like here. Order at the counter, take your number and have a seat; they’ll bring your food to your table. The drinks are self-serve. If you’re in a hurry, call ahead or order via their mobile app. Don’t forget to snap a picture of your receipt and upload on their app for rewards towards free food! Prices are reasonable, portions are generous, and I like that they have vegan comfort food as well as lighter, healthier options. Park in their parking lot and they’ll validate up to 90 minutes. 100% vegan and delicious! What’s not to love?!

Let’s see. — Quick Service — Friendly People — Not Crowded — Great Food What more can you ask? I love the power quinoa salad. Both times I’ve been here I’ve gotten it and I’ll probably get it next time. My boyfriend who I drag along to my many vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free adventures actually loves this spot. Great location too!

I first visited the Veggie Grill back in 2013. As a very casual café, you really go here expecting a good, comforting, wholesome vegan meal. And on this trip, it was no different. I had just completed 15 skydives over the past three days and I wanted some real food. Luckily, my hotel was just 10 minutes away so the journey to Veggie Grill was a short one! Veggie Grill has restaurants all over California as well as other states, but this particular one was located in plaza in El Segundo. I kept it simple and ordered the Harvest Bowl because veggies and Field Roast sausage sounded really good at that moment. They brought it out to me in just a few minutes. Atop a bed of kale and quinoa was roasted zucchini, carrots, broccoli, cauliflower, and Field Roast sausage in a porcini mushroom and miso gravy with hemp seeds. And, I thought it was okay. It was hearty and filling and good, but nothing to really write home about. I appreciated it just the same. For $ 10.95, I did feel that I got my money’s worth. The All Hail Kale salad I got the last time I was here impressed me a bit more. They have an extensive menu of snacks, bowls, salads, and sandwiches and although you are always going to get fairly simple meals at Veggie Grill, some are definitely better than others. Pass the hot sauce, please!

Veggie Grill will always be A-OK in my book. Not a bad thing at all though! I mean if I ever get a realllll jonesing for sweet potato fries this is my jam. But honestly I am not the biggest fan of sweet potato fries. But whenever I get them here I do like em and will definitely for over the extra $ 2 to add it as side! I had the Tempeh Bacon«BLT» and it was okay. the thing is I’ve had vegan BLTs at other places and so this was aitttte. In general Veggie Grill is really not that bad, I guess it’s a good step if you want to turn vegan/vegetarian but I feel like there are other places so yeah daz my two cents. Service here is GREATTHOUGH.

This review is long overdue as I’ve been coming here since they opened. Vegetarians and meat-eaters alike can rejoice because everything on this menu is delicious. The sides and starters are all amazing but my three favorites are: — Crispy Cauliflower(which is served with an orange glaze but – insider tip – you can sub that out and get buffalo sauce instead so you’re either getting an orange chicken flavor or a hot wings flavor — both great so it just depends what you are in the mood for) — Buffalo Wings — You will not miss chicken again. The flavor and more importantly, the texture truly tastes like chicken. The buffalo sauce is addictive and they’re served with ranch dressing and celery sticks. The only problem with these is that they come in an order of 5 and if you are sharing, you will fight over the last one.(And they are worth the fight.) — The Mac and Cheese is not only delicious, it’s also gluten free. How they do this is between them and whatever angels exist in the world but it is creamy and tasty and 100% awesome. — A 4th item tossed in as a ringer — the Portabello Mushroom Fries — they are crispy, tasty, served with ranch dressing and they’ll give the sweet potato fries a run for their money. — Fine, get the sweet potato fries too. They’re too good to ignore. I get the salads and my three faves are: — The Savory Kale Caesar — I get this with grilled tempeh and I LOVE it. Served with their version of bacon, cucumber and avocado on a combo of lettuce and kale. It rules. — The All Hail Kale — This is an «everyone’s favorite» and when I’m having friends over or going somewhere that requires bringing food, I bring this. You can add grilled chicken or tempeh and can’t go wrong with either. It’s marinated kale, quinoa, candied walnuts, cabbage slaw, and tomato corn salsa. Super-delish. — If you ordered the Buffalo Wings you can skip the B-wing salad.(which is incredible) and if not, get it. It’s buffalo wings on top of romaine, avocado, celery, tomato corn salsa and is served with their creamy ranch dressing. You fool yourself into thinking it’s healthy but let’s face it: just because it’s vegetarian, doesn’t make it «healthy.» A lot of these salads are quite decadent. If you had the wings and want something sweet — another ringer: — Banh Mi Salad — This is a super sweet salad but it’s also super-delicious. It’s served with the same marinated kale as in the All Hail Kale but has glazed tofu, chargrilled eggplant, white cabbage, and a bunch of other goodies in it. I’ve been known to get this as a side to split with someone in addition to another entrée salad. Don’t judge. The Grillin’ Chickin’ and the Buffalo Bomber are genius sandwiches. I know they are genius because I came here once a week for a year with a non-vegan friend and she alternated ordering these two dishes never even realizing she wasn’t eating chicken. THATISHOWGOODTHISPLACEIS. They have free underground 90 minute parking and a gym upstairs in case you eat too much and you’ll be tempted to. The one down-side is that as they have grown and opened more locations, the portions have gotten smaller and smaller for the same price. That is a disappointment which I hope they’ll rectify, but it’s not enough for me to take it down from 5 stars. They keep it clean, service is knowledgeable and friendly and all-in-all, if you want healthy faster food — there is nowhere better.

I am SOHAPPY I have veggie grill for 100% vegetarian meals. They use spice to really turn up the dial on the flavor and it is delicious! From their buffalo«chicken» wraps to sweet potato fries to grilled corn, they have plenty of delicious offerings. Don’t make the mistake, though, that just because it’s vegetarian that it’s healthy. Let’s face it, ranch dressing is vegetarian. They have some super decedent options along with really healthy ones. You just gotta navigate the menu. It’s always clean, service is always friendly with a smile and parking is free for 90 minutes. You should check it out. What’s the worst that could happen? You get a delicious salad?

I’ve been here twice. What are my favorite things is the Collie flower mash potatoes. It’s a mix of cauliflower and mashed potatoes. They also have a Pacini mushrooms gravy on top. This dish is not very salty so it’s good because it’s a little bit healthier. I’ve also tried some of the salads here. Parking is underground in the garage and stop by here after visiting Crate & Barrel two.

I had dinner here on a Monday night. It was a slow night which is good because it was my first time. I had the Bombay bowl. I thought it was delicious. Definitely had great flavor. Cauliflower, curry, kale, quinoa and a few other things. Fairly healthy dish as well. The parking situation is a bit ridiculous. It took me 20 minutes of driving around in the garage to find a spot. People were fighting over parking spaces. The garage allows for 90 minutes of free parking with validation. I’m not sure what the rates are after that. The outside seating is a great option when it’s nice outside. I ate inside but would have loved to eat outside if it was warmer that night. Definitely check this place out.

Unilocal100CHALLENGE4⁄100 I’m in love with this place. Not just the food, but also the friendly and helpful employees that work here. My favorite item on the menu is the Grillin’ chicken with the Yukon gold fries and EXTRA chipotle ranch. It’s VERY filling, even though there is no meat in it anywhere. The fries are really yummy and well seasoned. Additionally, I just downloaded the app for my phone, so I get a free appetizer from the restaurant but I haven’t decided what I want to get yet. I am trying to eat one veggie day a week and Veggie Grill, especially in this location, is making it easy for me to accomplish that. One day, I’m going to try something other than the grillin chicken. LOL

Great standby for lunches! Veggie Grill is a chain throughout the Los Angeles/Orange County areas and one of my favorites as a used-to-be-vegetarian. As a vegan friendly dining experience, their«meats» are all made with VG’s signature marinated vegetable protein blend and seasoned to taste delicious and substantial. Their plant-based attitude fills the menu with large salads, yummy sandwiches, and lots of different varieties of sides. They also have a rotating seasonal menu(that are always my favorites)! The chain prides itself on its use of no meat, dairy, eggs, cholesterol, animal fat or trans fat in their kitchens. My favorites include the Thai Chickin Salad, Bombay Bowl, and Glazed Tofu Banh Mi… though I’ve also been known to make a meal out of 2 or 3 of their sides and call it a day. This location in particular is always staffed with super friendly and very knowledgeable employees and is generally spotless. Grabbing a table in the outside umbrella-ed section is one of the best Weho people watching spots :). They’ll also validate your parking in the attached structure.

I want to go vegan! This place is making it easy! Everything is so good. Bathrooms are super clean, staff is nice. Free parking validation. I have been getting the hail kale salad for three years now… then they come out with an even better kale salad,“Banh mi salad”! So amazing! Tofu, grilled eggplant, pickled carrots, daikon, white cabbage, fresh jalapeños, basil, cilantro, and kale. The glazed tofu along with all the fresh ingredients burst with flavor! I hope I never get sick of this salad since it is the best I have ever had. The spice market bowl was ok. Carrot cake is amazing! And healthy Strawberry rhubarb parfait is ok. A bit too sweet.

Considering how regularly I visit this VG location, I’m surprised that I have yet to write a review for this listing. It is one of my favorite locations because there’s plenty parking in the structure, VG will validate for 90 minutes, and they let you tap into their wifi which is especially helpful for when your phone has a low signal and you’re trying to redeem points in your Veggie Grill app. The staff here has always been super friendly and helpful too. But what else can I say about VG that hasn’t already been said? Crispy Cauliflower! Normally it comes glazed in a sweet and spicy sauce(which is delicious btw) but did you know you can also get them with buffalo sauce instead? OMG, that’s officially my new favorite thing in life: Buffalo Crispy Cauliflower all day, err day!
