Had to review this gas station. 1) rejected my atm for no reason at 3am. Had to stand in line to pay for gas, not fun. 2) slowest pump in the world, seriously took me 5min 30sec to pump 12 galons of gas. Garbage…

the reason i am excited that this united oil station has opened here, is that they are the same company that owns chevron, & my honda performs infinitely better when running on chevron gasoline. every since palmer tore down the last chevron station that was close to me, at the southeast corner of sunset & figueroa, to build yet another crime-ridden apartment monstrosity,(ironically named for great italian renaissance families in an attempt to class up the joints), the same type of monstrosity built after this charming developer tore down the last victorian mansion of bunker hill [at the northwest corner of this intersection] in the dead of night, DESPITE the fact that arrangements had already been made for the los angeles conservancy to move said jewel to a different location because palmer wanted to build there. he was fined but $ 250,000, probably the equivalent of $ 50 bucks to the rest of us…] i’ve lamented the trip required to get gas./ so yay for united oil /chevron! plus the architecture is astoundingly creative for a gas station, almost up there with the silver po-mo-looking structure BP built at robertson & olympic. but the best aspect of this station is that the gas is cheaper than chevron, while being as good. opening price for regular: $ 3.69 when other chevrons are 30 cents higher.
