Tulip Thai Massage

Avoid this place.
1) Hard to find building, hidden by a huge tree
2) Not really any place to park
3) Had a reservation, and then they cancelled on me (hello, I couldn’t FIND the place, even with gps!) then a walk-​in came in and took my spot instead. Then what was the reservation for???
4) Front desk lady was very rude saying that I was 10~min late (see #1 and #2 for reason of lateness), and then could not compensate for wasting my time and cancelling my appointment

ok so I’ve been to a few of these hole in the wall massage spots all over LA and I never expect to be wowed given the low cost, but i have to say this was by far my least favorite experience. my massuece was jesse and although she had the potential to give a great massage she did not. Firstly she spent about 20 min just pushing on my calves obviously just trying to waste time, then she kept leaving the room, i counted about 5 times for who knows what… when she finally put some oil on my back and began actually massaging it felt great but it was too little too late. Also she kept trying to have a conversation with me although her english was not good, i come to a massage place to relax not to talk… overall i will not be coming back here and i am glad i tried it because it was close to my house but i won’t be returning.

Julie is the best thing that can ever happen to anyone! Small, clean and quiet place with nice and friendly staff. I’m definitely coming back soon.

Horrible experience. I made an appointment for two over the phone, and initially, the employee on the other end seemed quite nice and I could understand her clearly. Being that I am not an L.A. native, my girlfriend and I GPS-​ed where Tulip Thai was located. We had such a frustrating time finding where it was. We were going around in circles, until we finally just decided to park in a sketchy flat rate lot. We went on foot to try and find Tulip Thai on our own, and realized they have their own lot for parking. Their business is completely hidden from street view and has no signs to indicate which lot it’s located in. When we walked in, the receptionist quietly and nervously told us that she gave away our appointment to another customer because they were «busy.» Excuse me? A. It was not busy in there; what you really mean is that you only have one or two masseuse, which are now busy with our appointments you gave away, and B) I called you and said we are here but having trouble finding your business. How does that indicate to you that I no longer wish to have my massage done at your business? What horrible customer service. The receptionist didn’t even try to accommodate us. She basically told us that she gave away our appointment and then awkward silence commenced. We asked if there was anything she can do for us at all, and she said no. Really? I work in customer service as well, and that is not how you treat customers. Whether they are new or returning customers, it doesn’t matter. She could’ve offered to reschedule a new appointment with us, offered us a discount or a deal, anything. Tulip Thai Massage, I hope this one star gives you all a lesson on how to treat your customers.

I love this place. I’m so happy my husband brought me here. I have had a couple of massages and this one takes the cake! It’s clean and they are super nice! And the prices are reasonable!

One of, if not the best, massage I’ve ever had. Incredibly relaxing, the PERFECT pressure, and very affordable to boot. Don’t let the modest exterior fool you. Can’t recommend it enough!

Can’t believe I didn’t know about this place until now. Having bad back problems for years im no stranger to Thai massage. This place is clean, courteous, and comfortable. My masseuse was Susie and I highly recommend her! Having seen the other posts it looks like others have found her as well!

this is the place to get your massage not only once but for all the time.

I’ve been here about 7 times and each time has been an awesome experience.
The default pressure is 8 on a 10 scale. So if you’re used to «OMG bachelorette day spa party in Napa!!!» experiences, this place probably isn’t for you.
They get the knots out. I end up walking out and being able to move parts of my body that I haven’t been able to move in a long time. It’s akin to a yoga session: you’ll likely walk out a little sore but refreshed and ready to kick ass and take on the world.

I came here with back pain from work and I have to say it was good than I though. My back is getting better for working on tomorrow. Wow! Awesome
This place is clean and nice people.
I will keep coming back here for sure
