Delicious pizza and the avacado spinach dip was amazing. I prefer the other one near echo park though, just because of indoor seating space. Nice people working and hot friendly girls patronize the establishment. Nice smiles and conversation. Again, food delicious.

Having a brother in NYC I’ve tasted the best from the east coast and I can confidently say tomato pie is just like a NYC style pizza place. Everything about the pizza is perfectly done and it’s perfected simplicity.

Honestly I’ve been coming here as a kid when I use to skate with all my Friends would catch the bus all the way from inglewood and this place was so worth the travel best tasting pizza hands down!

Came here for a casual dinner. Got the Caesar and garlic knots. The knots were good. I kinda wish they were a little hotter in temperature but maybe it was because it was pretty chilly out. We got the grandma pizza which was also pretty good. Not too much cheese and the right amount of sauce. I really liked the thin crispness of the crust and it was slightly chewy as well. Obviously nothing can beat ny pizza but this place is pretty good and not expensive either. I’ll definitely come back and try a different pie. Oh and the staff is super friendly and nice!

My wife really loves their gluten free pizza. We usually get it with onion, tomato’s, olives, and mushroom. It’s one of the best gluten crusts out there.
I would recommend their grandma pizza. Also ask for their BBQ ranch. Thanks me later.

Ordered a medium Mr. White pizza, olive oil garlic base with three kinds of cheese. Mozzarella, Ricotta and Romano. This pizza does not have red sauce. This pizza is so good. Very different from your traditional pizza. It’s is thin crust as well.
Also ordered the garlic knots. These are so good but be prepared to have to stank breath! You may want to brush a few times and gargle lol
Lastly, ordered the New York cheese cake as well. It was very dry. Nothing out of this world. I wouldn’t order it again. But definitely would go to Tomato Pie again!

Just had a pizza craving .
When that happens i head to this place, it’s the sure shot for me .
I can’t realy be eating pizza that often so yhw ladt time i order delivery from this place was early this year and it just happend that the guy that helped me out remembered me because he deliver the pies, good memory i told him he was verry welcoming and helpfull .
I wish they would have been there back when i was in school right across the street.

Good olé New York style pizza. What makes this place so great is the flavor in the sauce. It just makes the pizza for me! I love their classic cheese simple and made to perfection.

All my friends talk about this pizza, they say that this is the best pizza ever! So I decided to go and try this pizza and see what everyone talk about.
Unfortunately the more you expect the deeper your disappointment, first of all it took so much time until the pizza was ready, second, I didn’t like the bread they make the pizza, it was dry and they burned it a little bit, they also put more tomatoes dressing than cheese.
In summary, in my opinion, the pizza was ok, not the best one but there are more pizza that they are better than the tomato pie.

I don’t understand why you can’t get every pizza here gluten free, I would like that complaint to be herd, but I would also like to say thank you for having any at all. Would also suggest having gluten free pasta on hand too. You would be the ultimate saviors. Keep marketing gluten free and you will soon become a hot spot.

I don’t particularly understand the love this place gets from some people.
Whenever we have pizza at work, they always order it from here. It almost always gets here cold, and sometimes the bread is even soggy. I find the dough and the sauce both underwhelming.
Wish I had better things to say, as some people at work are obsessed with this place, but I will always be disappointed whenever it’s a «pizza day» here and it comes from Tomato Pie.

Grabbed a slice one day while waiting for my car to be washed. Ummm really? Why the high reviews? Slices are just sitting there so they don’t taste particularly fresh. In fact my slice was generally bland and tasteless.
Totally awkward service. A bunch of guys just sort of standing around in the front making it sort of crowded. Why do they need so many guys behind the counter?
Anyway, below average so I wouldn’t consider returning unless getting my car washed and starving — even then I would likely walk over to Starbucks.

Gave it a try because I love pizza. I was a little disappointed in the end. The Grandma and Mr. White were both ok. I ordered them as individual slices, so that could possibly be the problem since they weren’t freshly made. Who knows. I’ll be back to try their other slices if I’m ever in the area again.
Ps. No restrooms at all for customers. Darn :(lol

This is one of the best pizza places I have ever been to! Great people working there and got the pizza out in a quick manner! We enjoyed eating there more than the rest of the places we are on our vacation! Also the variety of pizza and the taste they have was amazing! We really loved this place! We need one back home in Kc, mo!

Not good. Really not good.
We’ve been here numerous times, this location and the one in silver lake. This weekend we decided to try their online delivery system. On one half of the pizza we asked for pesto with sausage.
However, it took 90 minutes for our pizza to arrive. Really? And the pizza was cold, and the delivery guy did not provide any parmesan or chili flakes. Ok fine, we can just pop it into the oven and heat it up. But to make matters worse, we opened the pizza box to discover they did not give us what we ordered! On the pesto side, it was chicken and artichoke. Fine. Whatever. The worst part was that the pizza really didn’t taste good :(Not even after being toasted.
Very very disappointed in this place.

We were having a combined bday party and decided to get pizza. I did my research online and picked tomato pie. I ordered 5 large pizzas (eggplant, blanco with chicken, cheese, deluxe, & meat lovers). My favorite was the blanco with chicken. The slices were huge and the toppings were fresh and hearty. We wanted our pizza delivered at 8pm and it came 8 on the dot! Plus the young man was super nice. I will definitely be back. I can’t wait to try their hot wings!
