Great service and good food! You can’t go wrong with their $ 6.00 daily specials! The line is long but it moves fast!

While attending a 2day seminar at the Bonaventure Hotel, I discovered Togo’s Great Sandwiches at the City National Plaza food court just across from the hotel. WOW… What a deal, I had a pastrami sandwich is was meaty and had such a great taste. I loved it and to top it all very reasonable price at $ 6.00. The line was long at least 25 customers ahead of me, but I got served within 5 min. Really busy joint but it is well worth it for the quality and excellent customer service. I got to eat at Togo’s for 2 Days for lunch and was very happy. I will definitely try the Togo’s in my neighborhood.

Went in trying to make small talk this morning while ordering my breakfast sandwich. Lupe was NOT in the mood. She was very cold and unfriendly. Language barrier maybe? In either case, I will not be returning there any time soon.

The line is typically intimidating during lunch time, but I can see why. It’s one of the cheaper places to eat Downtown, and you get a lot of food. It’s also one of the few places you can get half a sandwich with something else like soup or salad. They claim to use«all natural chicken,» which is a plus. Also, their Santa Fe salad contains guacamole by default — nice! except it was highly acidic guacamole that kind of burned my mouth when I first tried it. Still, though, it is a good deal, and the line actually moves fairly quickly since they have so many assemblers there. Also, I shamelessly tried their peanut butter cookie, which is pretty good.

My favorite Togo’s location ever. I worked down the street and I would come here on my lunch breaks, during the busiest times. The line would be wrapped around the door, and anywhere else would take 30 minutes to get your food. But here, they have so many people working here, and these people are so efficient, you are always in and out in less than 10 minutes. They also always give me a discount on my salad because I get it without chicken and avocado, which is a nice touch because other Togo’s locations don’t do this for me.

Daily deals are my favorite here — you cannot go wrong with $ 5 on a stuffed sandwich. The pastrami and the roast beef are two of my favorite deals that run weekly. Sure I could get a footlong at Subway, but the quality here of sandwiches is so much better, and there’s twice if not thrice the amount of meat! The line can be intimidatingly long during lunch hours, but the servers move very fast(and therefore so does the line). The people are really nice and accommodating to your sandwich requests too — I always ask for extra pickles on the side and they’re never stingy with it. A lunch staple for anyone who works in the financial district area!

First time here. Line seems long but goes by quickly. I tried today’s special, which was Pastrami sandwich. It was actually really good. It feels like a subway but the options are slightly limited. They do have a couple of bread selections and the basic toppings. To my surprise, they only offer lettuce(compared to subway which has spinach too). A combo cost about $ 8 tax included, which is a sandwich, chips, and a fountain drink.

Got the soup & sandwich special for $ 7. It’s a pretty good deal. I got a pastrami sandwich(meat was nice and tender); and SW Chix and green chile soup. The soup was good once it finally cooled down a little bit. It was hot enough to burn a layer off of skin if you weren’t careful.

Never eaten lunch here, but their breakfast sandwiches are solid – and $ 3 bucks. They seem to be the restaurant that stays open the latest of the underground ones, and their staff is really friendly too.

A solid sandwhich selection Downtown. Their daily specials are a good deal. Can get really crowded during the lunch rush, but the line moves relatively quickly.

I was there, again, yesterday(Monday) and tried their special of the day ‘pastrami sandwich’. It was SUPER yummy. They piled on a bunch of veggies, hot pastrami meat, some mayo and mustard and topped it off with italian dressing! It was so satisfying and yummy! Best part– $ 4.50 ’cause it was the daily special!

I don’t usually do reviews on big chains but I was pleasantly surprised by this Togo’s at the ARCO/City National plaza in DTLA. This was my firs time ever at Togo’s and I had the Turkey Alvarado 9inch sandwich on wheat. Everything was fresh and they had some great options for the sandwich. This place puts Subway to shame as far as quality and freshness goes. I just wish they wouldn’t weight the meat amount you get on the sandwich, give the customers more meat. Its not like this is a deli were you purchase stuff by the weight. Tip: They are located in the back of the plaza around the USPS office.

OMG! I’m in love. This place is so friendly and upbeat and the food is amazing! I went here for 2 weeks straight last month. Can’t get enough. Plus they are decent on their prices. I LOVE this place the most though because of the awesome service and wonderful people. Makes LA seem less unhappy.

I was sooooooooo excited to see that a Togo’s was coming to the Paul Hastings building. Even though the food court offers a fair amount of decent choices, there is only so much one person can handle of the same four places. Anyway, my enthusiasm was thwarted very early on, and to no fault of Togo’s. No, everyone else was so desperate too that the line began to wrap outside the door at 11:30. The first four attempts at trying the place had to be aborted because I didn’t heave 37 minutes to wait in line. Well, I am happy to report that apparently a few early adopters must have subscribed to my old binge drinking motto of «go heavy or go home’» because now the lines are more manageable. Yes, it appears some of the heavy users might already be sick of Togo’s too. Man, this is a cruel, cruel world… I realize it is simply a sub shop and a chain sub shop, at that. But in this world of Subways spring up as fast as Starbuck’s once did, I am happy Togo’s is here. The quality of the ingredients is certainly a step above the average sub shop. My personal fav is the turkey cranberry on wheat. That sandwich never fails you!!!

So happy to have Togo’s in my little underground world. Nice to have a sandwhich option that isn’t $ 8. Yup the lines do get long to if you can go before 11:30 or after 1:30 I suggest you do so!

Hopefully this gets interesting because now within 1⁄3 mile there are blimpies, subway, quizmo, togos, and other sandwich shops. Anyways the saving grace for this place is that its the only chain sandwich place in this underground food court. I’ve been coming here for a bite before a friday night dodger game and the place being new is running specials, but lately i’ve seen quizmo with discount prices. As for the food its okay just been hitting the hot pastrami sandwich

I told my co-worker that there’s a brand new Togo’s opening in downtown. She said ughh no thanks. I only ate @ Togo’s once and it wasn’t that bad. I went there and the lind was long. There’s a special promotion every week since it’s the grand opening. The special for this week was $ 4.99 Endless Combination. Basically Endless combination was picking 2 items from half sandwich, half salad or soup to create a combo. There’s a guy(maybe the manager?) standing at the beginning of the line near the counter. He was passing out menus but only to the people at the front of the line. Which didn’t make sense because I didn’t have time to browse the menu by the time I got there. Sorry I lied, I actually had 2 seconds to read the menu. I ordered half tuna sandwich with extra provolone cheese($.20) and extra avocado($ 1.25) plus BBQ chicken salad. I waited a while for my sandwich so I looked around. I was surprised to see how a worker made his sandwich. He weighed meat slices on this scale then… right in front of me and his customer… he tore the meat slices with his hands. He didn’t slice the excess meat with a knife. He didn’t remove some of the slices. He used his hands… just like tearing a piece of paper. I was stunned and the other customer was stunned too. My parmesan bread was too dense and chewy. I prefer Subway or Quizno’s bread. I gave up and ate my tuna-cheese mix with a fork. The salad was kinda good because the BBQ sauce was good. I didn’t even need my ranch dressing. I will come back to try the other sandwiches because it’s still new. 3 stars! I am being generous based on my lunch. Togo’s is almost yummylicious!
