Excellent service to make up for mistake on server. Exceeded expectations and very helpful on the pre-​sales.

I received a marketing email from Tick Tock Tech. I normally don’t look at the emails but for some reason I took a closer look. The email talked about pre-​owned Dell servers. I called and got the owner Ivan on the phone right away. He was extremely responsive to my request. I received a quote within minutes of my initial call.
Surprisingly, I received the server the very next day. Our warehouse contacted me and asked to come down to the warehouse to inspect the packaging. It was everything I expected and then some. The server had an additional 8GB of RAM in it that they threw in and the server had a little bit faster of a processor than what was originally ordered. When I called to confirm, Ivan indicated that they were short on the server that I purchased and it resulted in an automatic upgrade.
I also noticed that the server was in excellent to NEW condition. When I asked about the condition of the server, Ivan said that the server was actually New Open Box as opposed to used/​pre-​owned as had originally been quoted. That was also a nice plus since warranty was a concern. The server had 2 years remaining on the warranty.
There was a slight glitch during the testing of the server. One of the processors caused an error. I immediately called Ivan and he arranged for a processor to be delivered «SAME DAY» to our HQ in Ontario. Before it had arrived, we discovered that the processor had been dislodged during shipping by the shipping company and the processor worked fine after re-​seating it. Ivan offered to let us keep the extra processor for a week until the server had been in production (as a hot spare)
Once the server was up and running there were NO other glitches. Ivan’s quick response to the processor issue was nothing short of perfect. When I deal with vendors, it’s very important that I find reliable vendors that are willing to step up to the plate when things go wrong. He more than exceeded my expectations.
On a side note, Ivan also shipped me a free rackmounting rails after the purchase and didn’t charge for freight.
This company is an EXCELLENT company to do business with. The pricing was significantly less than what I would’ve paid to Dell and most importantly, I didn’t have to wait long for the product.

Ivan Arnold, one of the current owners, is miserable to deal with and does not know anything about server technology. Called for a quote, and had to listen to Ivan brag about some other company he owns, toki doki. (like I care?) Then tried to talk me into a product he didn’t even have in stock, saying ‘I can get it in a couple of days’.
If I wanted to wait I would order one new from Dell at the same price. Prices are high for used junk and service is basically non-​existent.
Save your money and look elsewhere.
