Bought my first skateboard in over 20 years! and Luke was very helpful in selecting the parts. Very chill environment and if you’re looking in to getting back on a skateboard I highly recommend this place.

Best shop in dtla, not only does it look good and carry everything a skater would need, the staff is super awesome and knowledgable as well. Whether you want recommendations on where to skate or want to buy cool skate gear, Thrashgnar is the place to go.

It’s really hard to find a skate shop where you feel you can actually hang out and not feel like you need to buy something. Thrash Gnar is the type of shop where the vibes are good and the skaters who work there actually know something about skating. They have the largest selection of boards I have seen and they have an area where you can play video games. Thanks for giving skaters a place like this.

A real gem in a dumpy neighbohood. But it’s really close to The Cave(a new co-working space/event venue with dope street art on the exterior building). ThrashGnar is a new skate shop in Westlake with really novel boards. They are beautifully displayed on walls and behind glass – it’s practically an art gallery in here. They do have a gallery space to the left of the shop with some great photography. My boyfriend was obsessed with all the Star Wars themed boards. They also have a super old school television set by the entrance with a hooked up OG Nintendo console. I mean, you rarely see those ancient things anymore! The entire look and the vibe of the shop is really laid back, chill, and unique. Grand opening party happenin’ this weekend.

Best skateshop in Los Angeles! Thankfully there’s a shop in DTLA and it’s awesome. There’s an old console TV, OG Nintendo, & a stack of skate tapes to enjoy. Great selection of decks, trucks, wheels, etc and psyched they carry a lot of smaller brands. Support your local skate shop!
