We did a LOT of research when looking for artificial turf for our church preschool playground(St. Paul’s Lutheran, Long Beach). After eliminating 3 other companies(Easy Turf never returned ANY phone calls; Genesis Turfworks didn’t have the liability insurance to cover a school yard job; SynLawn changed their quote THREE times), I found the contractor Artificial Turf Supply recommended, Ed Galvan of Third Leaf Landscape, a great find indeed! From beginning to end, our experience was great. Ed was very informative and friendly on his initial visit to check out our site and create a bid. Additionally, he was willing to give us quotes with and without our congregation doing some of the prep work. He was also quick to answer additional questions(which always come up when working with multiple members on a school board). When the work began(which he TOTALLY accommodated to us … which is difficult when working with limited school closure times!), he and his crew were hardworking, affable, and very professional. AND, despite the extended hours Ed’s company had to work because of the difficulty of working around our permanent play equipment, he did NOT charge more. The final outcome? Beautiful! The kids love it — they say it is soft and fun, and the parents and teachers love it, too … especially as it replaces woodchips that regularly found their way inside via the children’s hair, socks, shoes, and clothes! A great job, a great team, and a great result — thanks!

I have no idea what that Lynette woman was talking about. Ed gave me numerous quotes for our properties and after doing my due diligence found his bids to be more than fair. The employees he has where very nice and the jobs where done on time. I would highly recommend Third Leaf to anyone looking to install artificial turf.

Edward Galvan, owner of Third Leaf Landscape came out on 7÷30÷14 to give me an estimate for installing artificial turf at my property. After a couple of emails to remind him of the proposal, I received it on 8÷21÷14. The proposals consisted of 3 artificial turfs we did not discuss during our meeting. In fact, they were all several hundreds more. I sent him an email about the discrepancies and he never replied. Very unacceptable customer service. Lynette
