Think Tank Gallery

Think Tank Gallery is a hidden gem! Very low key beautiful space. The events and staff are amazing.

This gallery is… INTERESTING! Located in an area where one should not be walking alone, the gallery itself is very quaint and lovely. It’s small, but has a wonderful selection of work. I was here for a bid27 auction. The crowd was young and hipster. Music was soulful and very easy to listen to. Drinks were tasty, but food was pretty gross. Maybe it’s for you if you’re into that vegan-​gluten free kinda stuff.
There is a free parking lot close by if you’re brave enough to tread the alley. I came here for an auction, so there was security (not sure if there’s always security). When Peter and I were leaving at around 10:30pm, security in front of the gallery walkie-​talkied the security guard at the parking lot. By the time we got to the alley, the security guard was standing there with a flashlight waiting for us and walked us to our car. I felt safe and really appreciated the consideration of the guards.

I love the look and feel of this space in its location within the downtown landscape. Hidden away on the second floor of maple you get the sense once you walk in that this gallery can and will do anything.
I came in for the coffee art exhibit. the concept and execution were great. this is an ongoing installation with coffee from all over the city being served up all you can drink over a span of 7 days and that over a span of weeks for a small price.
Coffee as art on the walls, as music and spoken word as anything you can think of.

Huge space, two rooms for big or small events, they host cool shows. Rough area of downtown but not unsafe. The owner is extremely helpful when renting the space. Definitely look into this place if you’re trying to host a show at a legitimate gallery.

This place is huge, hosts great events, and has tons of awesome art. Not sure what the other guy was smoking when he wrote his review…
9,000 sq ft of awesome and a reality series centered on the events that happen here… I daresay it’s one hip spot.

pretty weak. venue is a dusty studio apartment looking room maybe 30feet by 30 feet. two cheap tables set up with people selling beer or mixed drinks.
its hot in there. dusty. floor is just dirt/​dust/​unfinished. pretty empty the night i dropped by and it was 11pm. probably 35 people.
if anything i typed made the place seem cool believe me when i say its not. place is just weird and weak.
