I can not recommend this place enough, Phil is awesome! I came here because my amp has a weird problem where the audio drops significantly randomly. After checking my cables and guitar I brought it to the Reanimation Station. There’s a $ 25 bench fee that goes towards the service needed, which is more than reasonable since most places will charge 2 — 3 times this or worse a ridiculous hourly rate. Since my amp has a digital interface, Phil said that he might not be able to fix it and if so he would wave the bench fee. No one else in LA will do this. Though he could not fix it, he recommended me to a place that could and was true to his word and did not charge me. The way he treated me has inspired my loyalty and trust and I will always bring my gear here. Sometimes you meet somebody and immediately get a good feeling about them, like you can tell they have a good heart and Phil is one of those people.

Phil is, hands-down, a repair guru. He’s been fixing anything from amps, to mics, to guitars for me since he was back in New York. The Reanimation Station has great pricing, great turnaround time, and above all else – excellent and meticulous work on any sized project I’ve brought in. Like other reviewers said – look no further!

Snapped the headstock of my 1958 Airliner and was bummed to the max. Decided to put new tuning knobs, nut, and bridge. Took it to Gabriel at RS and he was enthusiastic about rehabbing my baby as well as conscientious about maintaining the integrity of the original design. The break was hard to visually locate after he glued, sanded, stained the neck and the setup was precise. Don’t look any further this is the dude. Great price and speedy job.

Wow! Phil Feinman is one helpful dude. The shop is inside of the hip recording studio, bedrock, populated by many a flannel shirt, but Phil is super down to earth and friendly. I come here whenever i accidentally break all of my equiptment/instruments, which is wayy too often. He once emergency fixed my guitar in less than 24 hours, and gave me free kick ass advice about which amp to buy. Go here for solid, reliable, affordable service!!!

I have a very old and esoteric solid state bass amp(a Fender Sidekick from 1982). It was making a bunch of weird noises and giving a bunch of trouble. Luckily, I was referred to the Reanimation Station, and it was the best experience I have ever had getting gear repaired. Not only was Phil quick in repairing it, it sounded better than it ever had. 5⁄5
