The Guardians of the Los Angeles Jewish Home

I couldn’t be more proud to be a part of this amazing non-​profit organization. You get out what you put in, and if you have the desire to build social capital, build a network of friends and business contacts then this is it. It’s a special group of like-​minded good-​hearted people that come together to put some great programs together for a great cause.
My great grandmother, grandfather and recently my grandmother spent her final days at the Jewish Home. The cause is great and worthy. The Guardians is a 75 year old organization that is dedicated to raising money and awareness for them. And, the moneys that we raise go towards funding those who live there who might not otherwise be able to afford what they have.
There is an amazing office staff of hard working big-​hearted people who are there to support us volunteer leaders of the community. There is nothing like The Guardians.
First Tuesdays of the month are Young Mens Division meetings. First Wednesdays of the month are Young Womens Division meetings. You don’t need to pay to come. you don’t need a reservation. You just need a big heart, the desire to contribute to your community and a willingness to meet good people.

The Guardians is a fantastic organization that does a uniquely amazing job mixing charitable giving with fun and networking.
The cause it supports is the Jewish Home for the Aging, but that’s not half the story.
The events are amazing… the group throws mixers every couple months that draw 500+ people and a summer party and X-​Mas eve party that draw about 1000 people. The venues are always cool places, like the Playboy Mansion and the Shangri La Hotel on the beach.
