The Evil Rock N Roll Cat

Every time I’m in LA, I make sure to stop by that store. A very special, one of a kind place, rock romantic, with hand made clothes, re-​worked vintage troves, cool exhibitions, concerts… you name it. It’s as much of a club as a store. Juju, the owner, is awesome: friendly, driven, with a great sense of aesthetic and a real desire to please her customers/​visitors. There’s always some creative crowd hanging out there, artists, musicians, actresses, models, or some interesting old time Hollywood character. My favorite items for now are their Mystery Sweater series. It’s Juju’s homage to deceased legendary stars, it’s subtile, thoughtful and beautifully done. I’ve offered the one dedicated to Kurt Cobain to a friend fan of him, and she loved it. I also got a military jacket with patched rock n roll slogans, from here. I were all the time and people stop me in the street to ask me where I found it.

I love this store! It would be an understatement to say there isn’t anywhere else like it. It’s as you’ve entered some kind of time warp/​alternate reality and punk kids reign supreme as glamour icons. The shop owner is BEYOND helpful and really knows her stuff! They even throw parties so you can feel like you’re one of the cool kids. SUCH A COOL SPACE. And they even have zines!!!

Simply the coolest store in the heart of Hollywood. It has one of the strongest aesthetics mixing classic cinema and rock and roll with a french twist. The store carries a great assortment of local indie labels and exclusively stocks Matthew Damhave’s one of a kind patchwork garments. I’m obsessed with the ever changing gallery space which drastically changes month after month from alien spaceships to 70’s valley girls bedrooms into various other worldly experiences not to mention their wonderful store parties which are frequently speckled with rockers, models, it kids and various über cool degenerates.

One of my favourite stores in Los Angeles, cool clothes and fun events always happening at the shop! And the people that work there are super helpful and knowledgeable and always have cool suggestions and do custom clothes if you think of something that goes with the ascetic. Good vibe and good music.
