Toasted bagel with cream cheese and hot cocoa for dinner… And I am not alone doing this… Fer real, the place’s packed.

Really small place, it’s like a walking drive-thru lol. And everyone is trying to stay in there to wait for there order while others are in line waiting to order. It gets cluttered, but it’s yummy.

Hello Coffee Bean! Having a great cup of coffee out of the office for a few is always an enjoyable expedition @ your store adjacent to the North Tower. Jaymie, you provide service with a smile and make sure my drinks are to my liking as you wish me a good day. Thank you!

Love this place. It’s a must when at the century city mall!!! Cute seating area outside. Gets busy, but the line moves quickly.

They’re busy I get that but this is the third time I’ve been here, I ordered straight off the menu no special requests and not once have they gotten my orders right. i really don’t understand that.

Sometimes when you’ve been cooped up in the office all day, you just need to get out for a brisk walk and get some coffee… enter the Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, located very conveniently for Century City workers in between the towers and the CAA building. Even though the line can get pretty long here, especially in the mornings, it usually moves pretty quickly. I personally prefer CBTL to Starbucks coffee, so I like almost everything on the menu, especially with coconut milk. Their tea selection is pretty solid too — just make sure you pay attention to whether or not it’s sweetened! My friend accidentally ordered the Tropical Passion tea the other day but forgot to get it unsweetened, so it was waaaayyy too sugary — luckily the employees were very friendly and made him a new one, no charge. Thanks!

I love the Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, which serves up its own particular brand of ice blended drinks, tea lattes, and coffee, of course. I find that the latte’s here taste a little creamier, with a less acidic espresso that Sbux. But the ice blended drinks tend to have more calories than their competitors. The tea options are much more robust than the competitors, and I love their tea lattes, which are very creative and delicious. I love that they carry Naked smoothies, which Sbux doesn’t do anymore now that they have their own brand of cold pressed juice. When I’m in LA, a latte and a Naked smoothie get me through long hours at the office! The staff are on top of things and get orders through with less than a five minute wait during morning rushes. They sometimes call your name, sometimes your order, so just make sure you listen well. This location has seating for about 16, with outlets and tables. There is also the outside patio, which is great for quick chats and sun basking before your next conference call.

This is my friendly neighborhood Coffee Bean. I work in the building, so I am here *literally* every workday morning and it always brightens my day. Everyone working here is fantastic, and Todd and Joanne particularly brighten my day. They are very quick, particularly for the volume business they do, and extremely accurate — especially considering they deal with some complicated orders from some very picky people. And now the CBTL is rocking their own rewards point system, this has definitely taken the lead over the Starbucks in the building across the plaza. Only hitch is no eating outside food within the café itself, but there is a lovely outdoor patio for that. Oh, and they even have plenty of outlets! If you need to do some laptop work or charging before heading into the office. Overall, great coffee and great service. Couldn’t ask for more. Can’t wait for winter to come back — love me some extra hot Winter Dream Tea Lattes!

Coffee & tea shop, local California-sourced ingredients and a decent passion fruit sweet tea. Will have to try the pastries next time. Reasonably efficient(probably speedy for California).

Great morning crew. They easily remember repeat customers(like myself) and our usual orders. Joanne and Todd are some of the best employees. Did a taste test in the office and CB beat our Starbucks. I also have to say that their bakery items are more tasty too. The prices are little steep but they do provide a nice morning experience to get the day started in the right way and regulars get the occasional drink upgrade so it all nets out!

Love the folks who work here! There can be a long line at certain times but they know how to work it and get us going. Very friendly and attentive. Drinks are decent. Still love their ice!

I have reached a new low, as I am currently procrastinating on writing Unilocal reviews… while procrastinating on making albums of my wedding photos as gifts for my bridal party… while procrastinating on work at 9 pm at night. See, the photos are taking a long time to upload to Snapfish(excuses, excuses), so I started browsing Unilocal for ideas for a Chicago trip I’m planning. Then I realized I haven’t written any reviews for the places I visited on my honeymoon in Yountville/Healdsburg/San Francisco in October. And, I went to Temecula last week so I now have a growing backlog of places to review there. What’s a girl to do? Obviously, write a review for a CBTL I’ve visited on and off for years because it’s right outside of my office(like everyone else who visits this CBTL… who isn’t a CAA client or wannabe). This morning I had to work early and as I was walking into Century Plaza with the sun barely up, CBTL caught my eye, and I remembered that my co-worker gave me a CBTL gift card. I usually go to Starbucks because I am a Gold Card member there, and there are three Starbucks locations within spitting distance of Century Plaza. I walked over to CBTL for the first time in ages and immediately received a friendly greeting. My chai tea latte was done quickly and tasted delicious, and it wasn’t too hot like I often find Starbucks coffees to be. The CBTL chai tea lattes are the best. If CBTL had a rewards program like Starbucks’ Gold Card, I would consider going there much more often.

The best CBTL ever. I love that it’s right in my building. Even if the lines are long they move through it very quickly. They are very friendly and efficient. I also love their outdoor patio area. It’s always breeze between the buildings but on a hot summer day it can be very refreshing. LOVE this place! It’s my favorite coffee spot.

Came here to grab a quick drink with my brother during work hours. Drinks were delicious, and service is always friendly. This is a great place to spot all types of celebrities. It’s right in the CAA building, so there are many interesting personalities that come pass through for a drink.

This place is cool because it’s in Century Park. It has a great patio that looks into the glass office buildings and luscious green grass. The place was busy, but not too crowded, so it had a nice vibe. They got my order out really quickly and seemed happy. It just sucks because it’s pretty inaccessible from the street and if you want to valet it’ll be at a rate of $ 3.75/hour, which is damn expensive. Oh well, you can’t win ‘em all, I guess.

Every day I see this CB and it is oh so tempting to spend all of my hard earned money here. Good thing I have some self control, but not everyday. This is one of my favorite CBs. Mostly because it is so close to my office, but also because the staff is awesome. They are so friendly and are quite efficient. *Like the reviewer below I have seen Colin Farrell here many times. He is not very tall. Why are all stars shorter in person?

CB makes an amazing Dirty Chai Latte. What the hell is that, you ask? It’s a chai latte(I prefer non-fat) topped with a shot of espresso. It sounds gross, I know, but for all you caffeine lovers and workaholics out there roaming around Century City with your blackberries in hand(wait did I just describe myself?) it’s the perfect afternoon picker-upper. The staff here is super friendly, and there’s usually no line. The CB here has simple syrup at the condiment bar, which is awesome. I never really liked the pastries at CB, but their teas + coffees are good. Don’t try a dirty chai at Starbucks. It really tastes like… dirt. But in liquid form. Wait, that would make it mud huh?

The funchy bunch and I make CB runs quite often. Today, another run was made sans MB(Mademoiselle Biscotti) but a blueberry scone was picked up in her honor. It’s huge, but not huge in taste — and is more bready than sconey. I do love their English scones though — which is more like a real scone than the blueberry blob they call a scone. Don’t get me wrong — I just finished it right now and I will never push away a scone that comes my way. I pick CB anyday over Starbucks. And I’m not sure why because I think CB coffee is stronger than Starbucks, and I like my coffee extra mild. In general, CB& Star drinks & lattes are really sweet. What’s odd is that CB has a different sweetness than Starbucks. To this day, I’m trying to figure out which one is sweeter. I love sweets but I don’t like my drinks sweet — more irony for u. Anyways, this CB — all the employees are young Asian fellers(Don’t these kids go to school??) who are super friendly and nice. Makes the whole place more cheerful.
