Tom Ka soup was more sour than others and thin. Yellow curry has a different flavor than I’m used to. Probably won’t go back, but there’s got to be some people that will just«have their spot hit» by this unique flavor that — it just did nothing for me :) Cheers

I went here for lunch today with a friend, but ordered online since I only have an hour for lunch and didn’t want to waste time waiting. I also wanted to use a gift card I’d received for christmas to pay, which is largely why I was splurging on a meal out. The service was a little slow when we got there, although the place wasn’t packed, but I won’t knock ‘em too much for that. My bigger complaint is that they weren’t going to take my payment method(which I’d submitted online), but also didn’t tell me that they weren’t going to. I would have changed my order had I known, as I would not spend over $ 20 on lunch, and I really think when you’re asked to pay online, they should give you a heads up before you consume all the food if they are going to change the game. In the end, they said I had to pay there because it’s their policy that if you dine in or pick up they have to swipe the card(the only exception is delivery, which incurs a delivery fee). This is such a bizarre policy to me when you’ve already submitted payment info online. The gift card I had was an online gift card(word to the wise: don’t buy those. they’ll make your giftee miserable in cases like this), so I couldn’t give it to them to swipe, and ended up having to pay with my credit card. Mega bummer. I just can’t help being annoyed by this silly policy that seems to make no sense at all. Food-wise, I did enjoy the spring rolls. THey were well presented and quite tasty. I also got their seafood soup, by which I was less impressed. The calimari seemed especially rubbery and other than a pleasant lemon flavoring, I found myself wishing I’d gotten any other soup but that one.(I don’t eat chicken, beef or pork, so my options were limited). I may give them another try at some point, but this experience was sadly subpar.

Quiet & quaint with AMAZING food. I had the Basil Chicken(Kra Pow) with coconut rice – it was flavorful & delicious(and a great price)! I was surprised that the coconut rice had raisins in it, but they actually enhanced the taste. Thanks Tawanna Thai, I will definitely be back!

Got the delivery and it was truly terrible. Some of the worst food I’ve ever had. My husband and I both separately noticed that the pad se ew had a foul odor coming off of it, it was inedible. The orange chicken was super fried and just had some sauce kind of dumped on top, not glazed like most orange chicken. The yellow curry had no flavor and the chicken in it was sketchy. Would not recommend and would not ever go back. Should have just thrown $ 70 out the window and made a PB&J for dinner.

SUPER pleased with their online ordering & delivery. I’ve had the fried rice & pineapple red curry with beef twice; SOGOOD. I chose medium spice, but you can honestly order it hot. it wasn’t that spicy. I also ordered the fried ice cream(bad, bad girl) and it was AWESOME. The ice cream wasn’t melted but the crust was still crispy(even after I stuck it in the freezer). They packed it perfectly and delivered in less than 30 minutes. They even followed directions; no knock, no call, just left food on the doorstep. Postmates, take note! Couple notes: I hate green bell peppers and forgot they were floating all in my pineapple curry. Womp womp. And, the fried ice cream had whipped cream, chocolate & a maraschino cherry on top. Nice touch. ;)

Small and intimate thai restaurant. I’ve come here with the hubby a couple of times and pretty satisfied with the food. Staff is really nice and I’ve never been there when it’s packed. We get seated pretty quickly. Prices are very reasonable and it is located in a small plaza that includes parking. Pad thai and bbw chicken are pretty good. It’s also a nice place to come and have a few drinks since they do sell alcohol. On the weekends sometimes they have someone singing or playing acoustic music.

Staff is beyond friendly and I can’t wait to come back and try more of the menu. Today I had the drunkard pasta with chicken and I asked for it spicy and it came out perfect. Wish I lived in the neighborhood but I will definitely be back.

Just called and told them how disappointed I was with my sad salad. They gave me a credit towards my next order. Bumped up one star, but I had to take initiative.

The food and service was so horrible, I almost couldn’t believe it. I ordered the pad thai only to discover extremely under-cooked noodles and terribly shriveled and dried-up veggies. The dish was so unappetizing, I could barely eat half even though I was hungry. My friend had ordered the kung pao chicken only to be met with similar dismay. Her chicken was so over-fried, oil seeped out of the skin. She also had to order another serving of rice bc the chicken was so salty. After our unpleasant meal, the lady handed us an extremely grimy and dirty pen with our check to fill out our receipts. I was so grossed out and baffled that a restaurant could give their customers such a disgusting pen to sign with! It had food particles stuck to it… wtf. NEVAEVAGOINBACK.

I’m just over poor service and inconsistent food. I’ve ordered take out several times, and today was my first dine-in. The food is decent to good(depends who is cooking), and today the service was just horrible. First they take forever to take my order(the place was dead — 3:15pm), and then when the bill comes the harass me about taking a credit card and minimums(they wanted a tip in advance). Sorry, I’m over it. Never going back.

I work nearby, so I venture into this plaza pretty often. I’ve had their pad thai and pad see ew and I think they’re both decent, but nothing to rave about. Service is always pretty pleasant, but the food could be better.

This place has been through two owners now since I first discovered this place in 2010. The food is good with the new owner who took over recently. The thought of writing a review for the initial owner never crossed my mind. Perhaps it was the I-don’t-care attitude of the first owners who never smiled. New owners actually cook in the kitchen and way more welcoming. The one simple dish that makes me keep returning is the Combination Fried Rice. I hunt Thai restaurants for fun and none so far has even come close to the taste of this dish here. Appetizers are kept simple and tasty. Also try the Yum Woon Sen salad(I added calamari). Oh, the restrooms are clean and nice, which I find says a lot about the management.

If i can give this place ZERO stars, I would! Horrible delivery service, It took about an hour and a half and I am only a few blocks away(working or else I’d pick it up myself!!) Ordered the orange chicken lunch special! THEWORST chicken I have ever had, EVER! so crunchy, It was almost as if it was a week old!!! also ordered Yellow curry for my Boss, took a sip and did not bother to even re try it! Ordered some fried bananas! Those are my favorite and today I must say not even that made up for the food! What a horrible experience and waste of money! :(

I randomly came to this joint on a date the other day. We were both so hungry and did not know what to order, so we just ordered a few appetizers. I would rate the appetizers as following. Chicken Satay– Pretty good — 4 out of 5 rating– They were tasty, meaty, and not too overcooked. There was a good portion of white meat chicken and the peanut and other dipping sauces were very tasty. Egg Rolls– Decent — 3 out of 5 rating — They were pretty decent, but a bit salty and had a weird aftertaste. We ordered the vegetarian egg rolls. They were pretty good, but a little too oily. Steamed Dumplings — 4 out of 5 rating They were pretty tasty, and not fried! They came with a soy sauce dipping sauce and they were sealed with vegetables and chicken inside. They were pretty filling and worth ordering as an appetizer. I can’t comment on their dinner entrees and their lunch specials, but for appetizers and a happy hour, they are A Ok…

There is a general«happy vibe» here. That’s nice. I only hit up this joint when I can’t get to another Thai place, because it takes a little longer here, it runs a bit on the salty/over seasoned side(for me) and it also seems like the charge for cash(discount) is not applied when you get it to go. Never bother asking because it’s only 5% Met nice patrons here though. And of course the waitstaff is nice. That’s the happy vibe. :)
