Best tacos from a lunch truck I’ve tasted! I asked for two tacos de asada, that’s how I usually know if the stand is good or not. Good asada tacos are difficult to find, tacos were full of flavor, juice and we’re generous with the meat. My friends and his sister got a burrito, chicken and alpastor. They were also satisfied. Keep it up!

Out of so many taco trucks I tried, this is by far the best Al pastor tacos in Los Angeles. you have to get salsa and lemon and the onions they have to make the tacos extra bomb! I live in inglewood and I drive all the way over here when I’m in the mood for some real tacos. They also have people right next to their truck that do churros and they’re so good! Nice and crispy and they put the right amount of sugar. It’s a good treat after you’re done with your tacos and have the munchies lol

Really good spot. It’s no surprise that the tacos al pastor are much better than the asada(this is a primarily al pastor truck) but everything I had here was great. Friendly employees, quick prep. Good stuff.

I’ve grown up eating this amazing-ness! All of their food is delicious and you can not go wrong with what you order. The prices are great! Everyone is friendly as well. Now they have a churro lady and those are amazing too!

Wow! I’m bummed I’m just now finding out about this place. All I heard was this place had bomb tacos and the Al pastor was what I had to get. After the Dodger game we decided to stop by. I started with one carne asada and one pastor taco. I ended up ordering a second round and trying the carnitas taco too. Everything was great! Tacos are $ 1.50 each. They’re street taco sized tacos… When you order the pastor tacos you get a separate ticket(than if you ordered something else). Take that ticket straight to the guy taking care of the pastor. He handles that and the truck takes care of anything else. There were 3 different salsas. The orange looking salsa is hottest… Had me sweatin! But it was good. The service was great and I can’t wait to come back!

My boyfriend and I had been coming here for years now. We preatty much tried everything on their menu. Tacos de Pastor are a must have and Tacos de Carnitas are my favorite. The guys are a little quiet but if you start a conversation they’ll go along with you. I just love going to them whenever we are in the mood for good tacos.

I’m going to be completely honest about this place! First off i found this place on Unilocal because i wanted to try a different«sason» as you say in Mexico… i drove from East LA to try this… OVERPRICEDTORTAS, QUESADILLASANDBURRITOS! $ 6 for each, tacos $ 1.50 my husband ordered quesadilla, was pretty plain in taste, yes took a bite. All i know is not worth the Drive. El Pastor good but not worth the price.

I went to Tire Shop Taqueria first but I was still hungry after 6 tacos. So I saw the posts to come check out the Los Guichos Al Pastor, so it was 2 miles from Tire Shop. So I ordered 2 Al Pastor and 1 Cabeza. The cabeza was horrible, it was a weird salsa on top and it was weird tasting. Was not a fan. I had 2 of the Al Pastor Tacos. I thought it was average. I thought it was a little sweet, not much flavor. Kind of lacking. I recommend Leo’s Taco Truck of La Brea. my next stop La Rena Taco Stand!

So Ive decided to finally write a review about the truck I usually find myself buying grub to get my taco fix! I’ve been coming here for many many moons. Simply the 2nd best taco truck I’ve ever encountered, ever! Tacos al pastor are a must have, try them. You won’t be disappointed if you like al pastor(if you tip the guy cutting the pastor meat he will throw in extra meat in your tacos)

What can I say about this tacos? THEBOMB.COM.ORG! As a Mexican I can say I’ve tried an enormous amount of taco stands from all over Los Angeles, and without a doubt, LOSGUICHOS are the best LA has to offer, This place is always packed, yet they manage to give away orders fast, the price is acceptable Don’t be scared away of the location, which is not so mesmerizing to the eyes, let the smell drag you in and you won’t be disappointed. RECOMMENDATION: ALPASTOR :)

So this is one of those spots that you would never know existed unless happenchance by word of mouth or Unilocal existed, plus I rarely give out 5’s because it would mean that I wouldn’t mind going back every day. I am spoiled by this place — both for price, taste, and selection available. For $ 10, you’ll be able to get a lot of tacos to fill your nightly cravings and it’s honestly the best deal around. Be careful! Ok well yes it’s not in a place that’s heavily populated but don’t let that scare you — what I meant was that if you happen to drive by this place, you may be fooled into thinking that the one across the street is the reviews you’re reading for so pay attention when driving!!!

Out of all the different taco trucks and Mexican restaurants that I have been to, Los Guichos by far has some of the better tacos I have tried– specially their pastor tacos. It is located at a tire repair shop on Slauson between the 110frwy and Broadway, a block away from its competition, Tacos El Gavilan. One of the great things about this spot is that it is open late so you can stop by after hours when you leave the club looking for something to help soak up some of the libations you had while getting your boogie on with your lady or the drunk chick that was supposed to be the D.D. from her group of girl’s night out. This time that I came here, I decided to treat the family to a taco tasting platter, and not surprisingly enough, we came to the same conclusions… *Burrito de Asada-. I’ve had their burritos as well, which are a good handful that an average sized person can barely handle. Fully packed with flavorful beans, rice, salsa roja, and carne asada. Has a nice kick from the sauce, and tender meat with a nice sear that goes even better with the roasted jalapenos and a horchata or Mexican sodas that they have to choose from. *Taco Platter: –Asada– like I said before, tender n juicy with a good sear. Best topped with the salsa roja and habenero– if you can handle the heat. For the record, I put habanero on all my tacos, salsa roja only on the asada tacos, and spicy tomatillo on the rest of the tacos to cut through the richness on the different meats with a squeeze of lime. –Buche– beef jowl, in English. Tender and slightly sweet, but not as meaty. Best with a little bit of cilantro, tomatillo/salsa verde, and a squeeze of lime. Tastes better paired with a true Czech style pilsner. –Cabeza– also known as beef cheeks. Very tender, filled with richness from the random cuts of fat strewn in between all the meat. Served best the same way as buche. –Lengua– beef tongue. Tender, but not much flavor to it. Overall decent, with sliced radishes, cilantro, roasted jalapeño, and a squeeze of lime. –Suadero– known as rose meat, which comes from the belly right against the ribs and slow cooked until tender then finished on the plancha(flat top). Had a nice crunch on the exterior, well seasoned, nothing spectacular. –Pastor– spit roasted pork butt. By far, the BEST pastor tacos I’ve had anywhere in LA. You get more than you bargain for with this taco that costs less than $ 2 bucks, yet a handful of deliciousness packed inside two small tortillas. Crunchy on the outside, very tender on the inside. Immense flavor from the marinade with hints of guajillo, cumin, and pineapple coming through. I love this taco with tomatillo, cilantro, habanero, lime, with a great heffeweizen. Definitely worth coming to try out!

Best Taco De Tripas Ever! I asked the cashier to please make them crispy and let me tell you. I was ready to die after I had the first bite. Aldo visit the churro vendor next to the tacos. Biting into a churro reminded me of going to town with my grandma in Mexico when I was a little boy. Good Memories!

Is it sketchy? Yes. Is it a lot that feels you’re gonna get stabbed or told to buy a bag of chips from a struggling mom? Potentially. This place is not for the weak of heart. If you’re a female and don’t mind the countless men mentally making love to you in their minds, then swing on by. Located off the 110 in one of several pockets of true Los Angeles lies this amazing gem of a taco truck. I prefer this place and taste over somewhere like King Taco or Tacos El Gavilan, to be honest. It’s really busy and congested during rush hour… or in Latino terms: Friday/Saturday night. Seating is terrible but authentic. You grab your plate and eat off the trunk/hood of your car, You don’t get more real than that. Sort of like saying«Screw you establishment, take your tables and chairs and vete!» Make sure to get 4 – 5 tacos though, I had three and it had me wanting to lick that huge meat stack they have grilling back there. Whoever gives this truck a bad review is a competing taco truck. For reals.
