This was literally my first experience eating something out of a C-rated kitchen. I didn’t even notice the sign until after I had inhaled my entire carne asada burrito, otherwise there is no way I would have eaten here. We spotted this food truck after coming out of The Echo past midnight and it was still open with a good amount of people in line. For $ 5, I copped a carne asada burrito that came out shortly. They had the sauces, jalapenos, cucumbers and limes lined up at the front of the truck for easy access. My burrito was warm and decently sized, although the tortilla was doughy. The overall experience was not memorable but got the job done. I didn’t think the sauce was too spicy BUT the sensation hit me later and my mouth was on FIRE. How deceiving! I wish I just didn’t see their Environmental Health grade at all because I would’ve left satisfied rather than feeling nervous about a possible food poisoning situation! Cash only.

Never going to this place ever again, I got food poisoning from this truck Don’t ignore them being rated C Now I know what they were rated C.

I’ll start by stating that the service was really nice, quick, and professional. I saw that the stand was rated C by the health department yet I still tried it because the rating doesn’t necessarily mean the food isn’t good. The Carne Asada was so bad, I threw it away. In addition to the meat being of a very low grade, it tasted old and contained lots of unwanted fats. I rate this stand only two stars because I feel ill the day after eating just half a taco.

I was across the street at señor fish getting my dinner, i saw that tacos arizas was open for business so decided to try one asada one al pastor lady taking the order is helpfull and nice order came out quick. its a hot saturday afternoon so the nice shaded area is perfect as far as the taco they are average lonchera tacos asada is groud with a lot of fat on it and the pastor taste like the one you get prepared at the vallarta, the hot sauce is got a nice kick to it .t looks like a cool little spot that i would go to if i happened to be near by and if there is plenty of parking like today.

I’m not an one-experience Unilocalers. #justsaying. I’m a regular at this taco truck, as well as my friends when they visit, happy with the food and the people. Quesadilla and tacos are my favorite, always consistent and never disappoints. A buck twenty five well worth it. That’s all I have to say :)

Bland carne asada burrito. Salsa also not tasty. Too bad for me. There are better stands around the area this one ain’t it

I’m convinced everyone whose ever given this place 5 stars has never eaten a taco before. That is the only reason you could possibly think what you’re eating is good. Let me start off by saying this place has a C from the health department. I’ve seen people selling danger dogs with better grades. But health code violations aside, the quality and taste just isn’t there. I can name a handful of other taco trucks serving up the same menu at the same price point that just do it better. 2 stars because the lady working there is nice

Love this place. Quick, easy and cheap. I prefer it to the taco truck by the Vons. I go for the asada or pastor, taco or burrito. Love the sauces and sides. Best I’ve had in LA!

Finally tried here the other night, and bookmark removed. Dry-ass old asada meat, their store bought tortillas are too«doughy», making the tortillas + meat ratio off. Sides of onions + cilantro mix, limes, etc are no longer self-served; this is a big downside, b/c I’m a onions-cilantro whore. Ate my to-go order 5 mins later, and the once delicious raw onions are now cooked thoroughly from meat heat, and the yellow cilantros are wilted + flavorless. Their red sauce is weak, and nothing special. «C» rating didn’t stop me from eating here, but after hungry high hopes + weak-ass tacos, it gives another reason not to venture here. Fresh ingredients is where their«C» comes from. Not the worst tacos I’ve had, but I do not recommend. I rather spend my calories elsewhere. The lady who helped w/my order was fairly nice. I’m throwing this in.

just finished seeing spirit club rn and we were hungry so we came here and man it’s pretty good! I got a torta de asada and it was dank. 4⁄5 stars because horchatas are $ 2 and they’re pretty small.

Ignore the C rating on the window — the carne asada is top notch and pretty fantastic. Quick, cheap, tasty. Can’t ask for more.

I got food poisoning for the first time in my life a couple hours after eating here. It was tasty though, but not worth 8 hours of puking!

Vegetarian be warned. The veggie burrito sucked. All lettuce and hot sauce. Yuck. $ 5 no. Tortilla was o.k.

Let me just throw this out there, Tacos Arizas isn’t amazing, but it is consistently good every single time.

I made a quick stop here after a Dodger game to grab a few tacos. And considering that I was craving some tripas tacos all day, I thought it was going to be awesome. But unfortunately, the tacos were just okay. The tripas were flavorful but they didn’t have any crisp on them. So the texture was a little unappetizing. They also ran out of lengua, so I got a couple of carnitas tacos instead. The carnitas was dry and bland, and not something that I would recommend. I’ve never met an authentic taco truck that I didn’t like, but this one didn’t leave much of an impression. Next time I’m in LA, I’m gonna stick to the good old ALJ or El Flamin’ Taco trucks. But I guess if you’re in the area, this truck will get the job done.

This is a real taco truck, not a post-Kogi trendjumping food truck. Tacos Arizas is the original, real deal, authentic taco truck with a spicy kick. If you see a show at The Echo or Echoplex and spend the night dancing amongst too cool for school hipsters and spending far too much money on cocktails, the Carne Asada Burritos or an El Pastor Quesadillas are the perfect after show choice. This is the kind of food one dreams of for soaking up all of the alcohol one has consumed during the course of a fun night on the east side of LA. This is the kind of food truck on which dreams are built.

Stopped by this truck while I was leaving the Echo. I think people who like El Chato will like Tacos Arizas; the tastes are similar. I had a carne asada burrito. It was tasty enough, although very greasy. Their carne asada was also already very spicy, without any extra sauces. I wasn’t a fan of that because I like to control the level of spiciness myself. It’s decent, but not a destination spot for me. I’d probably only come back if it’s convenient.

I work late and I go out late too so it’s good to know where to get great cheap eats. This little truck serves up the best tacos in Echo Park/Silverlake. I love their carne Assad tacos and their selection of salsas. This place is cash only but you won’t need a lot of cash to get filled up with tacos. Parking is in the Walgreens lot, right next to the truck.

My bf and his friend kept talking about this particular taco truck which they came back for twice in a day. My bf is Hispanic, so I’ve been begging him to take me to a legit taco truck for ages but he never did, instead opting for some sit-down food instead. And he knows his tacos and burritos! On some random hungover afternoon, we decided to go with his friend. What the hell, this was my first time to ever try a «roach coach» and I was slightly skeptical about it. I wondered if I was going to get some sort of food poisoning or whatever — the moment I got there, there were these kids taking photos under the«C» health grade while eating the tacos. But my friend assured me that hipsters line up in this place so it’s pretty much got safety approval. Asada Burrito = bomb! Wow, I think we got like 6 tacos and 2 burritos and everything cost less than $ 20. The burrito was so rich with flavor, and it wasn’t insanely overwhelming at all like most places are. I’d love to try the lengua next. Also, the variety of customers… Within 5 minutes I saw possibly 6 different types of stereotypes come and order from the truck. Can’t say tacos and burritos from a «roach coach» are for certain types of people… this truck is for everyone. If taco trucks are THIS good, I’m never going to paying more than $ 5 for a taco/burrito meal!
