So he had a chorizo torta and I had a (surprise!) veggie burrito, which was excellent. Better than any East LA truck V-​burrito I’ve yet had.
Apparently they put avocado in everything, which is why it’s slightly pricier than other trucks ($ 4 for the torta, $ 4.50 for the burrito).
A table to sit at with a half-​dozen folding chairs under an excessively bright strand of incandescent light bulbs. Salsa in tubs with ladles, including one avocado-​based green sauce that was fabulous. The horchata was far too sweet for my liking («it’s like melted ice cream,» I winced), but the jamaica was spot-​on.
