«It’s basically a full-fledged mexican restaurant on wheels,» Jose said as we walked up. «The problem is that I can’t decide what to get because they have everything.» So he had a chorizo torta and I had a(surprise!) veggie burrito, which was excellent. Better than any East LA truck V-burrito I’ve yet had. Apparently they put avocado in everything, which is why it’s slightly pricier than other trucks($ 4 for the torta, $ 4.50 for the burrito). A table to sit at with a half-dozen folding chairs under an excessively bright strand of incandescent light bulbs. Salsa in tubs with ladles, including one avocado-based green sauce that was fabulous. The horchata was far too sweet for my liking(«it’s like melted ice cream,» I winced), but the jamaica was spot-on.
