The Chorizo and Cabeza here is great, the guys aren’t too friendly but taco’s are only $.75/$ 1 and its close to me.

cheap. $ 0.75 per taco. $ 1.00 if you want hand made tortillas. Default is the hand made. It was busy on 1÷1÷10 at 10:30. Good flavor great price.

I guess having had 3 places before this gave me a better comparison and I honestly spit out my tacos, maybe it was the tripas were too greasy and bad flavor or maybe something else, I did eat more tacos at 3 more places after and they were all good so I wasn’t too full… I don’t know, I didn’t like it.

3.5 Similar taco stand to Pelon, but I doubt they’re affiliated. But similar offerings as the last one. Lengua, tripa, chorizo, asada, and cabeza. Tacos are $ 1 I got one cabeza and one tripa. Taco. The cabeza here was actually pretty good and and I can say it’s pretty similar to the cabeza at El Taquito Mexicano. The tripa was good but both me and Libby and I agreed the tripa at Pelon was much better.

«What is the name of this place?» The three guys running the stand looked at each other and shrugged. They had no name. Initially I was fairly happy with my tripas taco as it was very crispy but then I realized there was a certain flavor I didn’t want(being not a huge innards fan). I have to admit I was glad to eat it quickly despite it being extremely hot. Tacos are a buck. You order from the guy behind the grill and pay the guy behind the condiments table. Although, some guy popped out of nowhere near my elbow and asked if I had paid yet. Very odd. I thought their condiments were very fresh and I liked the salsa.

Me and a friend were starving like hostages, so we decided on tacos. It’s the gift that keeps on giving. We drove down to Highland Park, actually, going to the taco stand on Outlook and York, but they weren’t there. Damn their eyes! I almost turned around, but changed my mind when I saw this taco stand on the other side of the street a few blocks down. I parked the car, and we walked over to the eats. There were some people standing around grubbing, I, like a cyborg, locked in on the tacos and proceeded to order a few. «Tres de Al Pastor, y tres de chorizo.» Ballin’! The meat was floating around in the grease, they swab the tortillas in it, and then they grilled it. Seriously, these tacos made me have a mouthgasm. They were off the hook! These are what tacos are all about!

so i went to this place and it is really good. it was completely by chance that i stumbled across this place. there are many places like this all over la but ive never actually stopped. let me tell you im glad i did. this place is great the food was so good. the best that i have had in a while. there are only tacos at this place. the customer service isnt good but it isnt bad, they are just doing thier job, i wouldnt expect a nice convo… but then again i didnt really try to talk to him. it isnt in the best part of town but if you mind your own business then no one will bother you i think. if youre not familar with the area then go in a group i guess… i should actually go back again… miss those tacos. i cant believe how long its been since ive had one!

Next time I go, I can update with a more accurate address — but it is on the north east corner of Nolden and York. Dont’ know what their hours are, but I have been there after 9 p.m. each time. This place is good. It isn’t a truck, just a stand. Manned by three guys who don’t look too happy/friendly, but they make some good tacos. Had asada, chorizo, pastor, carnitas. I thought they were all good. They even have a grilled whole onion in a container near the grill you can have which is oh so tasty. I have only been to one other taco place that has this and I have been to easily over a dozen taco establishments. Order your tacos, put your condiments on, and then pay the guy behind the condiments. It is cheaper than other places — only $ 1 and with these difficult economic times, we got to save where we can right? That means for every four tacos you would buy elswhere(since most places it is 1.25), you get one free. +) Neighborhood is alright, not too sketchy in my opinion. But do be careful. I had to eat a lot of whatever tacos to find this one.
