Jose Jimenez is a very talented stylist, he always does a great job and he is very detail orientes. He gives great suggestions for the hair styles he always makes me look great! Jose is awesome!

Been living in downtown for a while now. Didn’t want to try these over rated placed that charge a ridiculous amount of cash for nothing. Just need a clean cut weekly. Go into Supercuts and ask for Laura. She’s done a great job and cares about her service. I will continue going back to her.

Wow! had my mother go in two weeks ago, and had her hair done by the stylist Carlos. He did such a fantastic job! My mom loved her hair so much that she felt like Carlos really listened to what she wanted her hair to look like. He was courteous and extremely helpful. I would recommend him to anyone in need of a new look. He’ll make you feel like a new woman/​man.

I usually hit up this Supercuts, I’ve had my hair cut by several people here. I don’t see any difference between the cuts they give here and overpriced salons that I’ve tried all over Southern California.
Yesterday I went in for something different, I’ll be honest I didn’t know exactly what I wanted. I’ve been getting the undercut for a couple years now and decided to try a fade…
Enter Guillermo.
After taking the time to figure out exactly what I was asking he got right to work, no hesitation whatsoever. He gave me the exact cut that I asked for and after letting me see it styled I realized I actually want a little more off the top, and he was more than happy to do that also.
The guy knows hair, perfect execution.

Just got my hair cut today, I gotta say this Supercuts is awesome! I always come in here and it’s always a nice friendly environment. The girl that cut my hair her name was Susan, she did a pretty damn good job! I would definitely recommend her if you decide to come here. I brought in a picture on how I wanted my hair cut and she was on point with the style

Sad ratings for JOSE. He messed up my hair and next time I go, he is like did u cut it yourself?!? I shouldn’t have mentioned he did it and waited to hear all that he had to say about the previous haircut! He will just try to be all nice with his smile and all that, but I’d rather go to some one more professional!

I’ve reconsidered writing this post time and again and I just can’t stop myself anymore.
Worst haircut ever ! Super Cuts isn’t worth a penny, with the staff boasting the vast amount of experience they possess, this Salon knows exactly how to ruin a haircut. Hair starts growing out unevenly and looks extremely shabby once it grows out.
I’ve tried other places and my hair grows proportionately every time. However, with Super Cuts this is not the case.
Highly recommend «NOT» going to this chain, as most of the Supercuts I’ve tried have the same issue.

My first visit to Supercuts and Jose did an excellent job! My hair was a bit damaged and he gave me his recommendation on how much to cut, but I didn’t want it cut too short. After going home to wash and style my hair I was extremely pleased with the end result.

Jose was great. We had a little hiccup with the color but Jose was really nice about fixing it until it was perfect. That is what I call GREAT customer service. Thank you Jose. I will definitely be back

Just left an amazing walk-​in experience from Monica!
The cut was basic but she took her time and payed attention to all the details I watch for!
THEN on her suggestion of a Tea Tree facial and wash, my crazy day just melted away! Hot face towel, tea tree oils for facial massage, while getting the wash I would’ve got anyway just $ 13 more! Phenomenal experience, I highly recommend Monica and her soft attentive approach!

Great location, clean and friendly and mobil appointments make it super easy to plan your day.
Stylist are consistent, you can pick your favorite.
Always a good cut for the price and awesome service.

The price of an haircut has unfortunately gone up to 20 $.
The haircut i gotten from Marco ranks in the top 10% of haircuts I’ve gotten from any under 20 $ place. I had not had a haircut for 5 months but he was very quick and able to cut accurately. He did not give me an guilt trips either about my hair being so long and when was the last time i got a cut banter.

Great hospitality and customer service. Thanks Jose but a great thanks to Guillermo for giving my hair a great color and style too it. Great atmosphere will go again for my retouch!!!

Currently went today and my stylist was an Asian woman named Tabitha. She was very impatient and was bothered throughout the order. She mentioned a comment saying «I know you don’t like me» and I was in shock because I wasn’t even thinking that.
She sped throughout the order and left her job unfinished. I strongly do not recommend her. Never coming here again.

$ 20 haircut! Yaaaas (I only cut split ends so I hate paying a lot of money for a haircut) I requested my hair to be flat ironed and they charged me $ 50 for a mediocre job I could of done at home … Anyway! I will be back for trim hair cuts :)

Talk about a half assed job.
After realizing this other salon I go to closed early, I decided to give this nearby Super Cuts a try. I didn’t get my hairdresser’s name, but I wish I did because she could not take direction at all and hardly spoke to me when I first arrived. I showed her a photograph of how I wanted by hair to look like and after pulling it out for a second she says «Okay.» I specifically said «I would like long layers, it cut with a razor and for it to be the same length as the photo.»
So she gets started on the cut and the first thing she does is cut my hair with sheers. I thought to myself «Maybe she’s just doing the initial cut with sheers & then use a razor. I mean I do have a lot of hair and it’s really long.» NO, she used sheers the whole time.
Suddenly after she finally cuts my hair at the length I wanted she says «All done.» So, I sit there confused and ask «where are my layers?» and Einstein responds «There are no layers.»
YOU HAD ONE JOB
At this point she doesn’t even ask if I want layers because hey maybe that’s what I asked for in the first place. I also didn’t trust her with my hair at this point, so now I didn’t want her to cut my layers.
My hair was wet and she was about to finish me up and blow dry my hair. As this was happening at least three customers came inside. I’m assuming she felt rushed. So she drys the top of my hair and styles the top and says I’m good to go… the bottom and inside of my hair was still soaking wet.
That’s cheating! How lazy can you be?
I understand having all these customers coming in at the same time can be stressful but it shouldn’t effect the quality of work on your current customer. I’m paying you too. Besides there where two other hairdresser in the salon.
The hairdresser wore black rectangle frame glasses and had long black hair. I didn’t catch her name. I wish I had one of the other hairdressers work on me, they seemed to know what they where doing. Obviously I won’t be coming back here.
Anyway you get what you paid for right? 18 dollars.

Not sure what that means in this situation, but use your imagination. I know what you’re thinking,” Alex, your hair looks amazing, I thought Paul Mitchell cut your hair!” No silly, for two reasons, one Paul Mitchell is dead. Two I wouldn’t be able to afford him.
Don’t judge a book by it’s cover
I know you’re probably thinking like me, corporate haircut?! I’d rather get my haircut at some shanty Korean lady whose shop is between two headshops along a small shady stripmall who barely speaks any English. But because I’ve been going there for so long it’s all I know of and she cuts my fade so sexy! Well I am here to tell you to take a leap of faith.
Third times a charm
People love their hair, it’s the only way that hot guy across the Starbucks will notice you. So I had to be sure before writing this, went three times and had my hair cut by Samantha, Guillermo, Carlos and Gladys. All three gave me Super Stellar haircuts with love and care, paying great attention to detail and teaching me a thing or two about hair care. For a cool $ 18, you couldn’t ask for more.

I’ve been here twice. First time, was just for a hair cut as I had been neglecting it for a year or so. I had no idea what I wanted really, and didn’t express my desires clear enough apparently, as I ended up with a hair cut that wasn’t horrible exactly, but didn’t work for me. The layers were too something where it made my hair all fluffy and poofy and added more volume when it’s already so thick. I wanted long side bangs, but ended up with something else. Again, I didn’t communicate that clearly what I wanted, it was on me that it turned out bad.
I was ready for a change, and decided to take the plunge and try out bangs again. I haven’t had bangs except for in elementary school, where my mom would cut them straight across. I also did attempt to cut my own a few months back, but they ended up being closer to micro bangs than Zooey-​esque. It was terrible. Lesson learned, I had been sporting some halfway decent long side bangs for many months.
Given that my boyfriend has been here multiple times, and usually ends up with a great hair cut, I wanted to give supercuts another shot.
This time, I got a super awesome stylist named Jose. Right off the bat, I liked him. He had cool hair (which is always a good sign), and was funny and really nice. He was excited for me the entire process, which was a lot of fun.
I also wanted to go bold with color with red. After a bit of consulting with the hair color binder and finding the perfect shade of red (cooler toned, with a hint of violet/​burgundy, but nothing too crazy), and showing him a couple blurry bang photos of what I wanted, he went to town on my head.
He cut it first, enjoying as my mane was lightened bit by bit as inches of hair fluttered to the ground.
After cutting it, he made sure I was happy with the length, and consulted me multiple times during the bang process. He started longer, and then gradually made them shorter, each time asking me how I thought it looked.
The coloring process went smoothly, he took a lot of care to make sure i didn’t get any dye on my skin. He even added little color pops or something where it has some bits where it’s brighter to give it a more gradual fade.
Overall, he did a tremendous job, and after a mini freak out when I got home and it was drying really fluffy and horrible like, and a bunch of flat ironing and curling my bangs, I LOVE IT!
Thank you again Jose for my amazing hair cut and color! It is lovely!
I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend Jose, personality wise, he is fantastic, and talent wise, he is amazing.

Also– DO NOT PARK IN THE RALPHS PARKING LOT IF YOU DON’T WANT TO PAY $ 50.
I was at Supercuts for about 3 hours, and validated my parking at Ralph’s like normal. Tried to leave the garage, and it wanted $ 50! Called the security guy over, it’s free for the first 90 minutes, after that $ 10 PER 10 MIN. Totally missed the sign. The guy was nice enough to let us skate by with $ 17 cash though.
