My friends and I bought tickets, over a month ago, to attend the Sunset Junction Music Festival in Silverlake. We booked a hotel so we could stay out there and enjoy ourselves. Five days prior to the festival they canceled it and now we’re stuck staying at the Hollywood Hotel for nothing (I have a lovely review about them too, worst customer service ever.) They’ve had plenty of time to let people know, yet they cancel it the week of…
Apparently they didn’t pay some fees that were due to the city and were unable to get the money in time. Here’s an idea. don’t plan a music festival when you don’t have the money to fund it. Sure hope I get a refund for my tickets at least. Needless to say I don’t care when or if Sunset Junction is coming back to town, or even the bands they get to play, I will not be attending.
