Hadn’t been to Subway in a while, and never this location… they are adequate, a little tight on the veggies, so you have to ask for more if you really want to taste them.

I ordered a footlong. I asked the lady to put the cheese on one side only. I asked for her to put extra cheese. She looked mad because I asked for extra cheese. She made a face. She kinda tossed the cheese, so I knew it bothered her. Most of the girls there are moody. The girl with red curly hair is mean. I don’t like their customer service. I go there most of the time because it’s near my job.

I wish I could give this location 0 stars. When I went there were only two people before me. But I was there for 20+ minutes. The woman in front of me couldn’t decided what she wanted. She literally had them put on every topping and she’d say a little more and a little less to everything. All I got was a 6 inch with teriyaki. No toppings. She took 5 minutes doing this process. Meanwhile the little boy behind me in line was jumping around and was so close he kept bumping in to my legs. The woman in front of me was finally satisfied with her sandwich, but then her little daughter had to take forever to find her name on the coke. And instead of finishing the check out while she looked they waited for her to get her name. It doesn’t stop there. Then the girl spent another 5 minutes picking between the characters of the movie«inside out» to get on her lunch bag. At other locations of they see that I want no toppings have my card in hand and the person before me has a large order, they’ll check me out to keep the line moving. That’s not the case here. They had me wait for their 15 minute process while my toasted teriyaki got cold. When it was finally my turn I told her I wanted the $ 6 meal and some guy came up and just wanted chips so she rang him up with out even acknowledge me. And just my luck the receipt printer ran out of paper so it was another process for her to find and it try to get it in properly. When she finally rang me up I saw the total and swiped me card. Then she said«it wasn’t ready yet so you’re just going to have to wait longer» and rolled her eyes. Obviously at this point I’m not all smiles. And I have a resting b*tch face so that probably didn’t help. But her attitude is what pushed me over. When I did finish paying and got my receipt she said«hope you feel better» normally that’d be fine. I’d thank her and be on my way. But her tone and the roll of her eyes makes me never want to go back there. This location is a block from my apartment. It’s about a 2 minute walk. By the time I got home my sandwich was cold and soggy. I’ve been to the location on 8th and flower that’s a 8 minute walk from me and it was still hot when I got home. Plus the service was far less sarcastic and rude. I will stick to the further location from now on! AVOIDTHISSUBWAY! They are rude and act like it’s an inconvenience if you don’t speak Spanish.

Closest subway to my job so I have gone in a couple times. The overall quality of the food is pretty much the same as all subways but the extremely long line is a hassle, especially lunch time. I asked the lady for pickles she gives me three, I ask for more and she puts two more like if I ask for extra pickle I expect to be accommodated! I take m pickles very seriously. Then I ask the next lady for mustard and she puts one line I ask for a little more and she puts half the bottle. Literally drenched my sandwich in mustard it’s a good thing I actually love mustard or I would of had a shit fit. I honestly prefer jersey mikes but there isn’t one located in Down town LA.

Gustavo, the counter helper, has an attitude problem, which is insulting to the customer, and I would imagine, awkward for his coworkers. I’ve already filed a complaint with Subway so this is just for the people. Food is fine, but this guy makes me not want to go there again. He doesn’t make our sandwiches properly and just tosses ingredients on there as if he’s just a tool. Horrible.

An OK Subway. Nice people and clean but they have no public bathroom. Ugh. :(Maybe this isn’t weird but for being a downtown location with lots of people on foot, you would think that they would have a public bathroom.

I am EXTREMELY disappointed in this Subway store. My two DEAF cousins were in town and after visiting a couple places downtown we thought we would pick something up fast to eat. We went to this subway and as we were ordering our food my deaf cousin asked to use the restroom and the«manager» said she’s not allowed. Which is fine but she continued to try to ask him more questions and I was the middle man trying to translate but the«manager» was not being patient at all!!! He was giving me the worst attitude and was not being patient with my deaf cousins. He got mad for NO reason at all and threatened to call the cops on me for simply trying to translate what my cousins were saying! So what did he do? He ended up calling the cops on me for absolutely NOREASONATALL!!! I was extremely mad and disappointed! The cops came and he didn’t even explain to them why he called!!! I told the cops EXACTLY what happened and they said it’s not a problem at all and that they felt it was COMPLETELY unnecessary for the«manager» to call!!! They also continued to tell me that this Subway is know to be bad in the area and that they are not friendly to the neighborhood! It is completely unacceptable to treat deaf people that way and is also against the LAW!!! I WILLNEVERGOBACKTOTHISLOCATIONNORWILL I EVERGIVEMYBUSINESSTOANYSUBWAYAGAIN!!!

I wanted to give this Subway 4 stars because its opened 24 hours, but it isn’t the cleanest Subway I have been to. I assume because they are opened 24 is a harder to keep it very clean. It is connivent because its right located near downtown and the only other option opened late is IHOP.

Eat Fresh! I prefer Subway to Quiznos because it’s simpler than the gourmet, fancy stuff. It’s just a sandwich. And if you happen to find some coupon in the mail for a $ 5 footlong sandwich, you’re golden. Like Starbucks, you can find a Subway at every other block or so. They have this new wheat bread called the Omega-3(sound so powerful). I’ve always preferred some kind of wheat bread over the white bread — fiber, you know? So I make my weekly Subway lunch run for a Turkey footlong on Omega. Yes, I can eat a footlong sandwich like any other person out there. Dine or dash — make your sandwich the way you want it. FYI — if you keep your receipt, you can get a free cookie within 7 days(at the same location of purchase).

I’ve been to this location many times because I work right across the street and have never seen really long lines. They’re always continuously busy but you won’t have to wait in a long line. From what I’v seen, they have about 3 – 4 employees whom are all very quick. I’ve ordered the breakfast combo many times. You can’t go wrong with a breakfast sandwich and coffee for $ 2. But don’t expect some excellent food either. You get what you pay for. I got to try all the breakfast sandwich options: Egg and Cheese — its egg and cheese, what more do you expect? Steak, Egg, and Cheese — salty and you hardly get any«steak» Black Forest Ham, Egg, and Cheese Western Egg, and Cheese — better than expected MEGA — my favorite because its A MEAT-FEST I love Subway’s cookies. They’re all soft and delicious.

Why do I love Subway the way I do? In lieu of Potbelly Sandwiches(not yet in California), they are quite serviceable. I remember, as a boy, being some time after 1800 but before 2000, how matron would take the children to subway. We were over-joyed to pick our own individual toppings. From bell-peppers to banana-peppers, from grass to wood-chips, how we would delight in being a part of our sandwich’s making. And no-one can tell me they do not like the smell of their bread, wafting out-of-doors. This location isn’t the cleanest, you’re better with the one on Hill but still, for a quick five dollar sandwich with all the fixin’s and woodchips you can eat, its suffices nicely.
