Wow, absolutely delish. We were at the Encino Farmers’ Market on a Sunday, and we ordered the sugar and butter crêpe, and also the vegetarian crêpe(with cheese), it took about 5 minutes and it was amazing! The sweet crêpe was cooked to perfection, light and delicate without being doughy. The savory crêpe was likewise cooked perfectly, a little browner to complement the complex flavors of the vegetables and cheese. I’m hooked!

My personal exerience is a 3.5, but I’m rounding up to 4. Time: 20 minutes Came here at the South Pasadena farmer’s market at 5:20pm. There was no one in line to order, but a few people hanging around. My roasted chicken pesto crêpe order was ready at 5:40pm. Taste(roasted chicken pesto crêpe): Overall good. Very oily. The crêpe was overall tasty, but excessively oily. My crêpe was really stuffed with Mozzarella cheese, which I personally liked, but perhaps contributed to the greasiness. The«roast chicken,» however, tasted NOTHING — I repeat, NOTHING — like chicken. Airplane-food chicken is a fine art compared to the spongy cardboard-like substance in my crêpe. The actual crêpe itself is also very soft and floppy, which I understand is just the way they prepare their crepes, but I personally like my crepes crispier. Other crêpe places, like Genki Living, allow you the option to choose the level of crispiness in your crêpe, which I think is important for a crêpe business if they want to be good. Service: Lackluster I would have appreciated it if I were given an ETA for my crêpe order so I could have wandered around the rest of the market rather than waiting around for 20 minutes. The people working the tent seemed really uninspired and disinterested. I just feel like if you are trying to build a successful small business in the food industry and you want to create loyalty and have repeat clientele, this is not acceptable. I know I’m over-analyzing, but the service here is really just deserving of a 3-star«A-OK,» when I feel like it could so easily be so much better. Payment: Accepts credit card I paid for my meal with a credit card and there was no extra service charge, which was a nice, consumer-friendly offering of theirs. Come back?: Probably not for a while The next time I’m at the farmer’s market and looking for a meal, I’m more likely to try the other vendors.
