Stript Wax Bar

I had a great experience at Stript. The lobby is welcoming and well decorated, and the rooms are clean and comfortable. They offer numbing spray which is really great. There is definitely no double dipping, so it’s clean and the woman did a great job. They don’t leave any wax on you like some other places I’ve been to.
BONUS — there is parking in the back. Parking can be tough to find in that neighborhood sometimes.

Jess is the best! I’ve gone to her a few times now for bikini wax and she is very fast and has a great, sweet personality. It doesn’t hurt at all! And compared to other wax places that can sometimes burn you or leave scars, her work is very gentle and thorough. She uses a special kind of wax that helps to make it more of a pleasant experience.

I tried this place for the first time and I’m absolutely in love with it. The service is wonderful and the technician was amazing. I’m so happy with my results and definitely plan on going back. Getting a Brazilian can be painful but they have a numbing spray that really helps and they don’t charge you additional if you decide to use it.

She did such a great job I didn’t want to leave the bed when she had told me she was done with me lol!!!
Next time I’ll go for the hour long session.:)

First time getting waxed by Jessica and she was amazing! Made my experiencing a great one and almost painless; the only painful part was getting my first Brazilian wax but she was beyond knowledgeable about every single question I had. Her service was amazing not to mention she was totally wonderful at keeping me at ease during the process. I definitely will return again for another wax.

Hard wax + Numbing Spray = AWESOME. It was my first time at Stript and the least painful wax I’ve ever had. I’ve been getting Brazilians for a while now and I’ve never been offered numbing spray. It is nothing short of miraculous. And they are reasonably priced. And they gave me cookies and champagne. Huzzah!
I will definitely be back on the regular, and will try their eyebrow skillz next.

I had a wonderful experience at Stript. I recommend that you ask for Ananda because she is so great at waxing! I went in for a Brazilian, and Ananda was so nice and professional! Her waxing skills are so amazing! It was painless and fast.
Also, the wax at Stript is the most fabulous wax! This is an exceptional waxing studio! Ask for Ananda!

Had a great experience with Issa. She did a good and thorough job on my leg wax. She is very quick which is good because it was my first time. I will be returning this week for bikini.

I got waxed by Jess and Issa… and…they were fantastic. They made me feel comfortable and in the end the whole thing went smooth… hehehe…smooth.

This place is amazing! It’s reasonably priced, clean, super cute, and everyone that works there is amazing! I’ll never get a spray tan anywhere else. All my girl friends that I’ve recommended this place to feel the same!

The wax used on me was way too hot and I told the young lady twice about it. Also, I don’t know if it’s the technique or wax used but the after growth provided the worst ingrowns I’ve ever had and I have been waxing for many years so I know the importance of exfoliating. I just came here on short notice because my usual place was closed– I do not plan on returning ever.

I saw Jess /​Jessica after not having a Brazilian wax in months. She was patient and thorough. She didn’t make me feel horrible for going so long w out a Brazilian. Great job. Nice girl. I will go back and see her next few weeks.
The salon is clean and comfortable. They offer drinks and cookies which is very nice.

I bought a voucher of 40 dollars on Unilocal (bank account checked, indeed they charged me 20 dollars)
I went there this morning at 10am as I wanted to be perfectly waxed for tonight and I didn’t have time to do it myself. I booked an appointment for bikini and full legs (regular price 135 usd without tips), was hoping 85 usd with my voucher.
The place was cute and clean and the girl nice. I had my bikini perfectly done… but then the legs … The worst waxing I ever had. After one hour, she lets me totaly sticked to the table, and tell me that she let me some oil to remove all the wax I still have everywhere on my legs (pictures) like EVERYWHERE… I ruined my nail polish removing all that wax and later can’t even take of my short as I still have some wax on my back legs. When I was trying to remove that wax, I saw that I still have hair on my tights, I went outside the room and asked her to come and do something but I felt like I was anoying her so much as she was playing with her kid in the entrance. she came back and remove the oi that I had on my legs and removed again some hair (but I still have and have to wax again by myself) I ‘m in a hurry now and I’m very disapointed for the waste of time !!! Plus, the cashier didn’t make the 40 dollars discount but just 2o dollars discount. When I realized (I was driving on my way home) she said that I don’t understand and they did the discount. I said that I already paid 2o dollars via Unilocal to have 40 dollars discount, and she says that the deal is 20 dollars discount, not 40… then it’s the same if I pay you 20 dollars to you or to Unilocal right? well, I just sent a message to Unilocal to find a solution.

Finally found my new favorite waxing place in OC!!! Today I had Brazilian wax, half leg and eye blow wax with Robin, she is phenomenal! She is very sweet and talks to you be whole time during the process. I don’t even realize you are having Brazilian wax, I haven’t done my wax for 3 months and it didn’t give me any pain! I love it. She is also very knowledgeable of what she does, she gives useful and good beauty advices too!
I am so happy that I finally found this awesome please for wax in OC! Will for sure go back and will only do wax with Robin!

This place is absolutely amazing, and I had such a pleasant experience. I was running late and they were able to squeeze me into their busy schedule. The receptionist was very kind and understanding, and she did what she could do to accommodate me.
Today, I had a Brazilian wax done by Rachel. Rachel is phenomenal! She’s very sweet and talks to you the whole time during the process. You don’t even realize you’re having a Brazilian done! She is also very thorough, and she does her best to make the process less painful and more comfortable. I live in NYC, but the next time I’m in LA, I will definitely return to this place!

HARD WAX is the bessssst and least painful wax. Ever … and they have a great deal ($ 20 for $ 40 for first timers). Anytime after that it is $ 55 for what they call a «maintenance» Brazilian, which isn’t the best deal… but it’s not too bad.
Stript Wax Bar is super cute. Very modern, girly, and edgy. I love the wallpaper, furniture, and just the entire set-​up.
I saw «BRO“zilians on the menu (brazilians for guys)… haha clever clever.
I’ll be back.

Had a facial here in July by Jess & just got a spray tan this week by… Jess!
She is so sweet & attentive.
Got me water before both services & the facial & tan were both top-​notch! Being an esthetician myself i know a thing or two about facials, etc. & she was very knowledgable as well. I also liked how she didnt pressure me into getting my face sprayed during my tan (every other place has & I look horrible after ;/​)
I definitely will return :)
