Starbucks

Wish I could give it zero stars. What, No toaster for bagels? Get your act together Dumbbucks;(

There are several Starbucks in LAX terminals, so I’m not sure this is the one, but here goes: really? The line was long, the food offerings slim (after 12 hours being shifted from hub to hub on SWA with only peanuts, I was hungry!). The condiment area was DISGUSTING. No brown sugar, no low-​cal sugar (Sucralose, etc.), no honey, no stir sticks. The place was a mess, with discarded sugar wrappers, dirty napkins, spilled coffee. With four or so locations in LAX, do you think Starbucks could have a quality assurance person or mystery shopper going to each location and either helping out, cleaning up, or doing something? Pathetic.

The only reason am giving them 1 star is because I was not able to pay with my phone app and was not told until I had waited in a huge line and made my order, then to make it worse I ordered a cookie straw and they didn’t even know what that was. Come on now Starbucks employees!!! They looked at me like if I was crazy. Am from CA and am a loyal customer to Starbucks so having this kind of experience at LAX was very disappointing.

I’m sorry I’m a Starbucks junkie. Waiting on a flight to Hawaii super long line at Starbucks. I literally wait in line for 30minutes get to the front trying to place an order, she keeps cutting me off after every item I say, (I’m ordering for multiple people) asking is that all. Then when I finally finish my order and go to pay with the Starbucks app (I’ve had my phone out next to the scanner the whole time) she then proceeds to tell me they aren’t accepting the Starbucks app only MasterCard Visa or cash. So you let me wait this whole time to tell me that when you say I had the app out. I could have called my spouse to bring me my wallet. Heck I could have even waited in line again since it has gotten shorter since I’ve been standing in it. However I will not be giving my business to this Starbucks ever with these rude employees. Even if you hate your job part of your job is to be courteous to customers. I rarely write negative reviews but this is the worse service I have ever received.

Just realized the price is much higher in airport than outside, Tall Green late outside 3.25; here 4.37 ! Never pay attention before!

Tired of feeling trapped and robbed by this Starbucks as the only oasis available after a cross country flight. Time and again they get orders wrong, have no customer service, give you attitude even. Unacceptable at any price point, especially so with a $ 5 coffee.

I’m pretty simple, just ordering Iced Americanos and the occasional wrap or pastry. Nothing too fancy or complicated.
That said, I would have given 3 stars, but they accept Starbuck cards, both digital and regular. On top of that, you can reload them there and get points! Rare at LAX, since most shops cannot accept gift cards.
Avoid when there is a line, as people will grab the wrong drinks or baristas will not understand the international tourists requests. Just asking for trouble! Get the wraps, or pastries, but avoid sandwiches, they cost around $ 10! No discounts on refills but they do carry a great selection of items.

Always friendly and really do a pretty good job of getting your order quick
Since I work midnights at the airport it really helps me out to get my night started plus its a good place to hangout if you want to catch a glimpse of a celebrity.

ALWAYS GET DRINKS WRONG. they seem like they just hire people off the street. horrible customer service. take the extra mile and go to the outside the airport. Who actually does have brown sugar, decent workers and who get your drink right. AVOID THIS STARBUCKS.

Got my drink wrong. That’s not why I gave it one star… lots of places can get an order wrong. I ordered a vanilla latte. I got an iced vanilla latte. I knew I was going to pay for it drinking it (in the stomach «pay for it» fashion, since I am intolerant of coffee) so I at least wanted to get the right thing that would make me feel like I was being punched in the stomach repeatedly. I can at least ask for that right?
Well when I told the lady I actually wanted it hot, she not only grunted and said I was wrong, the ticket said «iced», she stopped everything and went up to both cashiers and complained to them that they did it wrong on the ticket and I was making her re-​do it.
Get bent lady. She didn’t need to complain to me AND them in front of everyone.

Staff was delightful, coffee was slightly wrong, but hey when your slammed and have a huge line what else can you expect :)

Not sure if this is the right check in I got but I love it. Here’s why…
Yay! An actual Starbucks with an oven at LAX, even though it was located in the baggage claim area.
Well I was hungry anyway and AA don’t give you snacks just soda unless you wanna pay. I wasn’t gonna pay plus I didn’t think my flight was going to have a delay for that matter.
Anyway service was quick since no one was around. Just like every where else that is located in the airport, theme park, etc prices are jacked up a bit. Although my venti iced passion tea was still a reasonable price of under $ 3, unlike Vegas $ 5. They couldn’t really mess up my breakfast sandwich since it’s basically packaged and warmed up. So yep!

Friendly, fast, and good. Sits down by baggage and is a nice spot to get a drink before heading out… there are also a few high top tables you can sit at.
Winner.

Tried my first pumpkin spice Lah-​tay. It was tasty. Probably nicer than normal latte, but probably more calories too as it was quite sweet.
Banana walnut slice as well, nothing spectacular, but nothing wrong with either.

Its coffee. Cant screw that up. Thats not why this place gets 2 stars. The reason why is the swarm of fruit flies on the sugar and milk station. The moment i picked up the milk and cloud of flies came blasting out like ants on a mission. I then look up at the wall and they are all having a party.
So for everyone who uses this station you now run the risk of catching worms from these tiny annoying pests. Its also a sign of the fact the staff do not clean nor empty the trash.
I suggest not buying any of the cakes or food here as the chances of a fly taking a mini dump on it is quite probable.
