Great customer service!!! The manager and staff are great.

Super friendly staff and drinks are always perfect. Usually a long line in morning but they knock those drinks out fast as f@ck! Awesome, A+++
Bum activity is normal outside but they don’t bother anyone, It’s Dtla what do you expect.

I had a preorder I made on the app… Ordered food then took the 5 minute walk over to get it. When I walked in and told the barista my name she had the worst attitude imaginable and said «yeah, we just got to it.» Okay… So I sat down and a few minutes later she calls my name and hands me my coffee but where is my ham and swiss sandwich? She tells me it’ll be another few minutes. So I go back and wait. Once my coffee got cold and I watched a man’s bagel be toasted twice, bc he wanted it extra toasty, my sandwich was finally finished.
I got home and the sandwich bread was hard, my coffee was cold and I didn’t want to go back and argue. The worst experience at Starbucks I have ever had. RUDE!!!
The only reason 2 stars were given is because I love Starbucks. They got stars by association.

The customer service at this location is terrible. Every time I talk to the store manager or he takes my order, he is unfriendly, unwelcoming and flat out rude. I can’t stand going to this location for that reason.

Great place to start your day especially if you live in downtown. This place opens early and have good service. I personally love breakfast sandwich w sausage and half shot soy latte in grande cup!:)

Love this spot. I just got a graham cracker Frappuccino. The staff was very efficient and friendly considering the area. So convenient for the local residents in the high-​rise apartments.

Came here to get tea for throat and hot water. I asked for my bagel to be toasted and it came out soft and warm. I think they need to look up toasted on wiki. Other than that customer service was decent. Lots of space inside and air conditioned.

Worst service ever. Always seems to be at least 4 people «working,» never really a line, and always a long wait to get your drink. Not really sure how that works out. Would never stop here in a hurry… I did once and ended up being 15 minutes late because of it (not to mention they gave me an iced black tea and not the iced green tea I ordered.)

If you want hot water, don’t come here. They «Can’t sell you» hot water lol. First Starbucks location to deny giving hot water. Yes I’m complaining about it, it’s ridiculous that I could not get a cup of water.

This is one of the better starbucks. Staff is usually very friendly and smiling from ear to ear. Although, I’m only here whenever I’m in the area, they provide quick service I think both times I was here the wait for my drink was less than 2mins. Staff is also very attentive as well and that’s always a plus. Drinks always come out consistently good and what you would expect from Starbucks.
They are always busy and they have no parking. Please advise.

«superb» If I had to choose one word to describe the service attitude and perfection in the way I feel from when I walk in the door to when I leave. The customer service is outstanding, they remember their regulars and from my first visit they remember me. It is always good to be appreciated in service. The warmth of the staff keeps me coming here even though there is a Starbucks right on the corner by me.

I like this Starbucks. Although, I’m only here whenever I’m in the area, they provide quick service both times I was here the wait for my drink was less than 2mins. Spacious location and very busy. Staff is also attentive and that’s always a plus.

Worst @starbucks I have ever been to.
Took 30 – 40 minutes to get my drink (no joke and not exaggerating) because they had 2 people at the register and 1 person making drinks. This is with about 20 people standing around waiting for the drink they ordered.
Despite the 20 people waiting for their drinks, Nemesis (the girl who was making them) took her sweet time. No sense of urgency or regard for people’s time. How businesses succeed or are able to stay around operating this way amazes me.

I wish there were more coffee shops like this. The one thing about this place, besides having great employees, is that there is a really nice sidewalk patio set up. I really like that. Los Angeles has some of the best weather in the United States and lacks the large patio set ups like this. Bravo Starbucks!

It’s a Starbucks, what more do you want in a review?
It’s across from Ralph’s, it’s across from Robeks, it’s across from Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf, it’s coffee I would rather drink to start my day and keep it going. I go across the street if I just want a treat. I could tell you when you come here often (line and pun intended) they will definitely know your name and know your favorite drink. It’s just odd that they have a wall separating the two rooms from each other. You’ll know what I mean if you have been here before. I’m just waiting for the eggnog to come back around.

Service here is hit-​or-​miss. Love that it is conveniently located on 9^th St. between Flower and Hope. It is quite a spacious Starbucks with separate entrance and exit, yay!
My first time here: I ordered a Frappuccino in the afternoon (though not the only one within that time period), and my order was delayed so much that three parties behind me had already had their orders fulfilled, including two drinks that were Frapppuccinos! And when my Frap was made, the barista took it with her to the register, which forced me to ask another barista for my drink — waiting a total 15 minutes while 8 parties all had their orders fulfilled; ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS.
Other times, like a recent morning, everything went smoothly and quickly. No attitudes were given, and I was a very satisfied customer. So, depending who your barista is, you can have either an awesome experience or a very frustrating time. Since it is the closest Starbucks around my work, I will probably still continue to come here since my experiences have not been horrendous, that is if I’m not going to CBTL.

Not all Starbucks are created equal. This one has extremely friendly service, their long lines usually diminish within minutes, they have really great seating areas in the front.
After your 100^th iced macchiato you can pretty much tell how it’s going to be by the way that your drink looks, and the first time I ordered one here it came out perfectly. The best combination of milk, espresso and caramel. It’s stayed pretty consistent every time I come back.

I always wonder what kind of research goes into opening up a Starbucks store location.
The location right now is already great being across the street from a Ralphs. With all the new apartment buildings coming up, it is only going to make this Starbucks more desirable.
The service is fast and great like most locations but what I really like about this one is the outdoor seating with shady trees for people watching.

Great location in South Village in South Park. Great place to meet and catch up with friends. Across the Street from Ralph’s Fresh Fare. With Skyline Condos upstairs, Market Lofts across the street on 9^th as well as Concerto across on Flower Street, cool neighborhood waiting for this new Starbucks. I come regularly to meet my friends from FIDM and SC.
Usually ample street parking nearby. Or park at Ralph’s with validated parking with purchase. I always get great parking.
ALWAYS CHECK THE STREET SIGNS! DO NOT PARK IN FRONT OF RALPHS M-​F 3−6pm (rush hour). YOU WILL BE TOWED!
