Just reminding everybody I found a shard of glass in my salad and they didn’t even apologize when I called about it

Their Gyro fries is a huge MUST! The lady in the cashier was very nice & helpful! She recommended it to me because I told her I was craving some sort of fry. My experience m here was great other than the nasty & foul exterior of the location! Ugghh there were flies outside which I think ended up coming inside the restaurant too :(

Umm… I work nearby so this place has become like my go to! I love the chop salad, if its to go have them put chicken on the side! The chicken Alfredo, and the chicken Parmesan panini with the breakfast potatoes are great! They also have like amazing coffee! I mean it’s hard to go wrong with any of the items really! Love it!

I frequent this place from time to time, at least 3 times a month. I noticed that it’s constantly being improved and that’s a plus. My usual go to is the Chicken Alfredo which they perfect every single time! The drink variety is very awesome and the staff is super friendly. My only beef with this place is the chicken wings and the steak. I usually take things to go since I live just a few blocks away. The wings were really soggy and had no crunch… it tasted like they were boiled and then splashed with sauce. They do not specify how many ounces the steaks are and the last time I ordered it, it was mad tiny. The first time I ordered the steak it came in a decently sized circular to go container, the second time it was packed in a tiny container… where did the rest go?! I’ll still come back for the Chicken Alfredo cause that dish is what keeps me coming back.

Down the street from me. Been here a few times now… Nothing mind blowing but great alternative to LA café. The cheese steak is the way to go. They’re gyro is good too. Good value. Open late is a plus.

Absolutely love this place! I have never dined in but have ordered delivery from here about 12 times. Each & every time the food has been on delish, delivery has been fast and personnel has always been friendly! I am moving from DTLA this week to studio city and tonight will be my last time ordering delivery. This place has literally been my go to spot when I’ve had a long day and don’t feel up for making dinner for hubby & the kids. Thanks for always providing excellent service! Your an asset to DTLA!

This was my first at Springtime and I am very disappointed. I’m a big foodie and my food was literally inedible. Ordered multiple entrées and had to throw them away after two bites. I asked for the chicken Gyro I saw on menu, the lady said they didn’t have a chicken gyro even though I saw it online so I ordered the beef/lamb one instead. When I took my first bite the meat tasted really bad, the second bite was covered in a nasty tasting tzatzki unlike anything I have ever tasted. The meat had no flavor with a unpleasant taste and texture. The other entrée was the Asian salad, never in my life have I ordered a salad that was brown and had no greens or lettuce lol what a joke. It was old soggy brown coleslaw with a few grilled chicken cubes, and some canned mandarin oranges Fries had zero seasoning and very basic tasting Lastly let’s talk about the cleanliness of an food establishment. When you walk into a place your about to eat or try for the first time looking down at the floor it was very dirty. Looked like it hadn’t been vacuumed or mopped in a while. This shows bad sanitation and is a big turn off. Most people would agree. Personally had a really bad experience and will not be returning ever

Springtime in new york café is certainly one of the best lunch spots in downtown LA. Seats can be quite limited inside as its very small nevertheless, my party of 4 is almost always able to snag a spot at a weekday lunch time(12pm to 1pm). All i can say is, their fries are absolutely heaven, very well seasoned and cooked. Their fries is one reason I kept coming back to this place. And whats good is they almost always serve unlimited fries! What more could you ask for? PS: You can choose bottomless chips or fries Aside from that, I was able to get a free coffee by just checking in through the Unilocal app. I was able to try their Philly cheese steak and DTLA burger. Philly cheese steak(5⁄5) — They have some absolutely tasty steak out there! Definitely recommend others to get this! You won’t be disappointed! DTLA burger(3.5÷5) — Hmm, I don’t think they are very good with their burgers though it hasnt a lot of toppings. The meat was just okay, nothing extraordinary. Fries(5⁄5) — Perhaps the best fries I’ve tasted in LA so far. Hands down! I would definitely keep coming back here for lunch again. Would love to try some of their sandwiches as well to see how it goes :).

I will order delivery from here if I am eating solo because there isn’t a delivery fee and minimum is $ 10. I’ve had the Philly Cheese, which is my usual. The bread is so soft and chewy. One time I was craving a Pastrami sandwich,(which BTW they do not have on the menu), and they totally made one for me. How awesome is that?! I’ve also had the Pastrami Flatbread which is good too because the little pieces of pastrami have burnt/crispy edges and i kinda like the flavor. When ordering with coworkers, usually everyone has liked their food. Delivery is usually on time or slightly quicker and only once or twice food was cold. Slightly pricey in comparison to portion size.

The food served here is decent. Definitely can’t complain about the taste of my Phillycheese Steak Sandwich and the Chicken Gyro Fajita. The beef was good and not too salty, nor was it bland. The stir fried sliced jalapeño peppers and bell peppers in my cheese steak sandwich certainly made my tastebuds salivate. It was served with homemade potato chips. The Chicken Gyro Fajita was also good except the meat was a bit on the dry side. The chicken was marinated when cooked. It was served in a pita bread with lettuce and chopped tomatoes. I liked it. And this order was served with onion rings. Each order was served with a side of ketchup and a ranch dipping sauce. Again, the food here is good. However, they skimp out on the meat which made my sandwich and the gyro look flat. The cost of our food wasn’t cheap. The menu showed $ 11.00 for our order, but got charged $ 12.00 each. The small dining area along with the outside eating area wasn’t too clean. Thankfully I didn’t see any critters, but the tables needed a better cleaning while the floors needs sweeping. I was most not happy about no restrooms available for customers. Especially when you have to go. I believe the sign posted about the restroom closed for renovation was not true. I understand there’s a homeless problem in the area, but come on! Be realistic about having restrooms for the customers to use. I had to run to the next building and ask the security guard to use it. Overall, my experience here was sub par. I did not enjoy sitting in a cramp area in addition to everything else. Btw, expect homeless guys to keep coming up to you asking for change.

Long & overdue review ! I’m a regular at this place used to always get the chicken flatbread and now I am totally addicted to the shrimp panini !!! I love the service and staff. This place is coming a long way and had struggled with turnover of staffs . I always enjoy when Brenda takes my order because she’s attentive and makes sure the order comes out on time and always gets it right !! I just love spring time wish it was in LA !! Highly recommend and you must try that shrimp panini

This place is wonderful. In the heart of downtown, parking is sleazy but its a quivk walk for me from a close by friends… anyways, service is top notch, everyone is friendly and personable. Couldnt ask for better service… all things aside the menu is great… i consider STNY to be my breakfast spot usually. Overall five stars, place has increasingly become better over the past year or so. Keep those heavenly crosaints coming guys! ***tried to make my own at home and just couldnt do it like you guys!!!

Springtime in New York Café is a very cozy place that has a very varied menu and lots of options to choose from. It is very well lit and decorated and it’s open until VERYLATE. I loved the service and the attention to detail to the decoration and ambience. I had the Chicken Alfredo Pasta, which was served quickly and had the right temperature. It was tasty and filling yet not overwhelming. I look forward to trying other dishes soon.

Twice I’ve been here after 12am and twice I’ve found it nice. They have a very extensive late night menu: breakfast which includes omelettes, waffles, breakfast burritos, etc and then there’s burgers, wraps, sandwiches, deluxe fries, and dessert. They offer indoor and outdoor seating. The only negative is the restroom. Everything in there is pretty gross. It’s downtown LA so I understand it may be hard to keep clean but still. The employees are pretty nice too. The food is pretty good. I’ve had their burgers, egg breakfast, Philly cheesesteak, and gyro burrito. Food tastes fresh and the fries are pretty good too. My favorite so far has been the Philly cheesesteak which comes in a pita bread. It has the classic tastes of a Philly cheesesteak– meat, cheese, onions, mushrooms, peppers– YUM!

Lovely, lowkey place that looks very inviting from the outside. Lights strewn across some greens, is what I recall. Pop in and see a large and varied menu — which the guys there are happy whenever you’re ready. No rush. Now, this is in an area that has some, unique great options nearby. But, SINYC seems a worthy contender. Somehow the salads sounded what I wanted. Tried a Caesar with chicken, and it was pretty darn good. At $ 11, I thought it was worth it: Crisp Romaine, fairly moist and nicely seasoned chicken, good amount of dressing without getting all drowned, and a handful of crunchy, tangy croutons. This place is way more than salads, and I look forward to digging deeper. Though I took it to-go, I actually really like their comfy environment there. Those who were eating in looked to be pretty darn happy, too.

+ Tasty food + Friendly staff — Long wait times — Limited seating — Small portions(at least the Philly Cheesesteak was) My coworker and I happened upon this place while walking by looking for a new lunch spot. There is outside seating which is always a good time when you have interesting LA characters walking by. I ordered a Philly Cheesesteak and it took a ridiculous amount of time to prepare. Probably over 10 minutes. When it finally came, it was a very tiny portion wrapped in aluminum. For the price and wait time, I was disappointed.

Eventful to say the least Definitely was excited to try this new restaurant but it fell short of the reviews. During the whole dining experience the following occured; homeless man wandering into the restaurant begging for money, employee kicking him out, waiting 20 minutes for a simple phillycheese steak to be cooked, flies flying all around my head and food, cockaroach scampering around her feet, employee murdering the cockaroach, unseasoned bland fries, bottomless fries request that never arrived, phillycheese steak that needed more steak. Yep. Feels like New York alright.

Had the classic burger with bottomless fries and it was well seasoned and had great flavor. Must be the special sauce lol Very satisfied, would definitely stop by again.
