First of all I have to confess that I’m not a wine expert or wine lover because I’m allergic to alcohol and I don’t drink wine. But I’ve been there to buy nice wine for my husband and friends, and they have always loved the gifts because each bottle is thoughtfully selected and recommended by the wonderfully knowledgeable, friendly staff at Silverlake Wine Arts District. Their customer service is excellent, and their selection of wine is within a surprisingly reasonable range. I also love the interior design of the shop as well as the free parking lot right next to it. Highly recommended! :)

I haven’t gotten a bad wine here yet. The best thing is they’re mainly priced in that $ 10-$ 15 range. Perfect for dinner or for my weekly wine consumption.

So happy that downtown finally has a proper wine store with FAIR pricing(looking at you Buzz on Spring). Selection and service are both phenomenal at this location, as you’d expect from Silverlake Wine. The staff is unbelievably friendly and super knowledgeable about wine. I’m really happy that this brand is expanding. Can’t wait to see what they do in Highland Park(please open soon!!).

Everything we all love about Silverlake Wine in Silverlake, only in on the coolest corner in the Arts/Industrial District in DTLA. Cannot wait for their bar to open next door! – Corie Brown

Beautiful addition to this corner of Downtown! Like the flagship location in Silverlake, this store provides a fun, welcoming atmosphere for discovering new wines(as well as beers & other bottles). Worth the trip…

Beautiful open space that just opened on 7th and Mateo! This little wine shop is really inviting and spacious — beautiful wood finishes, organized storage, and spatially well planned. Currently Silverlake Wine Arts Distinct just sells wine/beer, and the location is really convenient. They currently don’t do tastings, but I spoke to a staff member and looks like they will have wine tastings once they get licensing in the Fall. I’ll definitely be back for that! The staff here are fantastic — friendly, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic. I bought a bottle of Pinot Noir from Oregon with recommendation, and also got a whole lot of history about the origin. Love that! Now all I have to do is try to talk like an expert when I open the bottle with my boyfriend… not as easy as she made it look. The same owners are also opening a bar called EWR Bar next door where Señor Fish used to be. They will have a bar kitchen as well! In addition to the new bar next door and future-tastings, they also have their own parking lot(free for customers) which has been beautified by muralist Tofer Chin. Look for the west-facing wall with blue, black, and white artwork! I’m reallllyyy stoked for all the new development happening in the neighborhood.
