I am lucky to have found Shannon through my insurance carrier. She is a wonderful listener and has sound advice for any situation you find yourself in. Professionalism mixed with a friendly and warm demeanor is the name of the game with her. She knows how to put your mind at ease so you feel comfortable in talking about sensitive issues while providing you with the tools to take on life and all its obstacles it throws at you. I would recommend her to anyone that has never used counseling before as well as those that need to get back into it. I am a young busy professional that has seen a few different psychologists and almost gave up on therapy entirely. Most don’t «get» my age group and the various trials we go though, especially when it comes to relationships. Shannon completely understands my generation and is extremely adept at working with you to take control of your life to get you where you want to be, without changing who you are. She is very good at explaining how therapy works, and what you can expect; especially to those of us who don’t have a lot of experience with it. I highly recommend her to anyone that needs help, especially to those of us that have questioned the benefit of therapy in the past.
